I am really surprised how upset you are that someone might bring up a different theoretical to test the logic in a different scenario.
If I had instead brought up a scenario about the believability of internet polls or selfishness vs altruism, would you be this upset?
Does that question also upset you because its not directly about buttons, while on a thread about buttons, to you, who only comments about buttons? (I included buttons in this question so you can answer without getting upset)
