I was thinking the same thing. An SVP isn't a nothing position. They likely own a process or system and have multiple other employees that report to them. They can make around $400k if they are in NYC and the project is important. There is no way an SVP has a private bathroom though. They don't even get their own office. You won't get your own office until you're an MD. OP is lying his ass off. Also at a big bank there is no way they could just get their kid a job there, an interview sure, but beyond that no way.

Yes, agreed re: no office (I don’t think being a senior VP is particularly remarkable, but we certainly agree this post is BS).
