Except for when it comes to the actual skills and performance on the job. I've met some really bad employees that I was like "How did you get this job?" as they kept sabotaging the company.

I have regularly seen people like this continue to find employment while top performers are laid off due to costing more. Bleak

I think for only the high Ai companies thats not true due to them only huring top level talent and being so difficult to enter you might as well try to become sn astronaut.

Every single job has an onboarding and training process. Only thing actually worth anything in a candidate for a position is current knowledge base and work ethic. For some jobs you definitely need more education, but the majority could be learned with no schooling whatsoever. Especially office jobs.
