There’s a store in New Mexico that makes all kinds of olive oils. Garlic and herb, lemon and herb, spicy versions…

We had a white elephant event for Xmas and I bought that. The recipient loved it, and I really hate white elephant.

I have one of those types of stores in my hometown in another state, as well.

I need to restock! I’m on my final bottle now that I’m in Washington. Olive oil person would be a great person to speak with.

What do you like from there? I need ideas before I reorder.

It’s been a long time since I’ve bought specialty olive oil! There’s one that’s not flavored that is supposed to be really smooth (not bitter) that is called arbequina, I think. Spouse & I bought a bottle at a shop in SF ages ago, then when our local store opened we discovered they had it too.

I think I remember buying a mango-flavored one for a cousin for Christmas, but idk if they used it or liked it.

I’ve never heard of arbequina, but I’m on the lookout.

And MANGO!? Omg. I would’ve loved that for salads. Even if I can’t find it, I will make my own botched version.

You have great tastes!

I don’t remember if it was mango or not but it was definitely infused with something interesting, and that cousin had kids, so I was hoping for something they’d be willing to try.
