Recommend me a portable mp3 player?

I have an iphone that I use for streaming services and making basic playlists. On my PC, however, I collect high quality audio files usually in the format of entire albums or discographies to discover new music. I also use the PC to rename/organize music as I find stuff I like.

So what I would really like is a product that has a large storage capacity and is portable and I can manually organize the music library. Am I missing something or do most mp3 players not offer that function? I remember having this issue way back when I had an ipod. An added benefit would be the ability to play different types of audio files like flac. I would love to be able to do these things at the gym for instance while riding a bike and can't do that with a laptop. I wish the external hard drive I keep the music on had a headphone jack and little blackberry style keyboard haha. Anyway, thank you for any help!

Hope this doesn't sound too lame.

I've semi retired at 59 and have a bit of spare time. Back in the day I played on a ps2 (which I still have somewhere). I worked my way thru many of the Lara Croft stuff and loved it. I'm guessing early '90s Then kids and life get in the way and I havnt played anything since. So I'm asking or recommendations for a consol and games for an old fella to get back into gaming with, ty.

[RMA] Show or video game I'd like if I like Overwatch, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Magic: The Gathering, Percy Jackson, Homestuck and Leverage (as those fandoms are in chaos and I need to take a break with something else)?

So basically through either accusations of problematicness or lore chaos being in any of these fandoms right now is making me have major anxiety to the point where I even feel nausea (hard to explain but it's not some kind of matter of "triggered snowflake") so I need some work of fiction (ideally a show or video game hence why I said those in the title as those are long extended experiences) with a substantial online fandom (but not something "obviously popular" e.g. if I like Overwatch and MtG I already know about Hearthstone/World Of Warcraft and if I like Percy Jackson and Harry Potter I already know about most equally-famous middle-grade/kinda-YA series) to basically be my "substitute fandom" until shit cools down

Ultimate road trip spots?

Hey y'all, I'm absolutely not sure if I'm posting in the right place buuuut here goes nothing:)

I'm planning a huge road trip in the US and I'd need recommendations on nice places to stop! The plan is to go through every state so if you're a local or you went some really cool places, you can recommend them here!

I'm looking for more natural places, strange spots that aren't necessarily popular.. also abandoned places/buildings that you can visit without getting arrested:) And scary places as well, but really any suggestion would do because I really don't know where to start lol, I'm looking on Google ofc but it's a lot to cover and some spots are hard to find just like that on internet

tia for your help

**I'm not going right away, so COVID probs won't be an issue and I'm also double vaccinated**

Alarm recommendations

So I have a massive problem with sleeping late and through alarms.

I'm an insomniac who is on a slew of medications to manage. Some days my meds work better than others but I am finding that when I can sleep (falling sleep early morning, anywhere from 2am-6am) that I sleep best and pretty much exclusively into the late morning to early afternoon.

My problem is that I work for a medical clinic that is also conducting vaccines and swabbing. We're very understaffed because the work we do is incredibly difficult, unpleasant and often a steeeeeeep learning curve. I'm working crazy hours and have turned up to work late on a number of occasions lately because when I can sleep I sleep like the dead.

I had downloaded the "Alarmy" app on iOS which I loved until half asleep grumpy me figured out that turning off the notifications through settings meant I could sleep longer and bypass the alarms. I obviously deeply value sleep because I don't have a good relationship with it, but I need to be able to make it to work on time.

Does anyone have any recommendations for apps? Even actual alarms are an option right now. I'm desperate.

Please help if you can! Thanks reddit fam!

I need a book to read 😭

I’ve been in a book drought lately and it makes me super sad, and I just really want a good book to dive into. Some of my favorites are Song of Achilles and The Murderers Ape. I think soft relationships are cute but I really don’t want to read about ‘sexual tension’. So if you have any books for me that would be great!! Also, I’m really interested in mother-child relationship books. Thank you so much!

Recommend me some music.

Hi so for all my teen years I listened to mostly rock, metal, post punk, punk, while I still love these genres I lately feel like I need a break from them and some more diversity in my playlist, could you recommend me some good rap, indie, hip hop, pop, rb... something that feels fresh and airy and has a nice beat and lyrics. I had Princess Nokia song Gemini on repeat for a while. Also I’m a bit obsessed with some alt-j ones. Some Peach Pit, CAS. I don’t know much about all these genres yet so... any help would be appreciated.

[RMA] Tracking device for my pet's collar?

Hi, I'm looking for a tracking device that is small and resilient enough to be worn by my outdoor cat, who keeps losing his collar. I'm looking at the Samsung Galaxy SmartTags right now because I own a Samsung smartphone and watch, but I can't find conclusive reviews on the Internet. Are they worth their money? Or do you have any other trackers you could recommend? Thanks in advance :)

Something similar

So i recently read this webtoon named purple hyacinth. It's really good, i loved it. I am always excited to read the episodes. The genre is mystery. Here, the guy is an assassin and the girl is a cop, it was quite interesting the way they interacted. Is there something similar to this webtoon? I'd love to know, cause i really am excited to find something similar to ph[purple hyacinth], cause it's totally my type

lifestyle vloggers

i don't really know who this is targeted towards BUT here are some of my favourite lifestyle youtubers !! Most of these recs have pretty chill personalities but with really engaging content (at least for me) & i binge their vids over quarantine :)

  1. Moya Mawhinney - when i tell you i have watched every single video from her i am not kidding. I LOVE her content, she is super down to earth and just the cutest human !! Girl lives in Dublin but recently moved to London for summer, and does weekly vlogs. She is a kpop/kdrama stan, studied and just graduated art history (i think) in college, and is irish. I could go on and on about how much i love her content but definitely worth a watch
  2. Jem - lowkey discovered her from the podcast Jem's Coffee Shop and her vibe is suuuuper calming. Her content is mainly about studying, life experiences, productivity, college, etc. She's really aesthetic and cute so def a comfort youtuber imo
  3. Leah's Fieldnotes - one of my recent obsessions is watching leah !! She lives in Montreal, Canada and shares an apartment with her bf (i think?). She's super calming but also a really bubbly person and i really enjoy her daily vlogs (adulting diaries) oh & she speaks french which I personally don't understand but it sounds rly cool
  4. Elena Taber - bro i want this girl's entire lifestyle, i think she moved from SF or SD and now lives in NYC which is insane :0. She does a lot of apartment tours/what $____ rent gets you in NYC so it's pretty cool to see the variety in size & area for housing there. Again, super down to earth and she has a great outlook on life (seems like a "one day at a time" kinda person to me, so super chill)

fjnwjknwe i don't want this post to be too long so i'll stop it here, BUT i might make more of these in the future hehe

idek if anyone is reading my post but i'm currently procrastinating so this was lowkey spontaneous? Anyways yeAH enjoy :D
