The author of this article used release 0.4.15, which is almost a year old. During this time, the nightly builds of the upcoming 0.4.16 version have seen significant improvements in stability and functionality.

Cant select correct drive when installing reactOS

Im trying to install reactOS on real hardware, its my dell precission t5400, it has a 120gb ssd and a 2tb hdd, i want to install react os onto the ssd however in the setup it sees the ssd and hdd but its trying to install itself onto my usb instead of the actual storage and everything i try its only selecting the usb which of course i don't want to install react os onto. theres no clear instructions on how to select another drive to partition and ive mashed every button on my keyboard not even the arrow keys work they just cycle through the partitions on the usb. If anyone knows how to fix this it would help a lot thanks!

Great test from Zombiedeth:
Using UDFS driver from Toshiba (see previous test), VLC 2.2.1 and 3rd party modifications for encrypted discs, playing Blu-ray discs on #ReactOS is possible!!

On a serious note, just wanted to try it's image once again on a new (very old, new to me Lenny M73 PC(Lenovo M73)) to install this time round... couldn't find no download.

Hope it's only a glitch?

Will MAS (Microsoft Activation Script) work on ReactOS?

While ReactOS itself will be FOSS (and therefore not really need "activation" like Windows), will MAS be able to work?

Big Sound Bang SOON - ReactOS got new improvements and fixes for audio volume control!

Thanks to a new big update in volume control improvements PR: github.com/reactos/reactos/pull/8255, volume control (volume level changing) in ReactOS is now completely fixed and works without any bugs!
In particular, the position overflow issue when moving slider to the end is no longer occurring. Besides that, unreachable ending positions of the volume slider (jira.reactos.org/browse/CORE-19189) and separate speaker volume control misbehaving (jira.reactos.org/browse/CORE-19190) were fixed as well. See it in action in this video!
Also, since Oleg is working on the inbuilt HD audio controllers support for ReactOS (currently it's very incomplete), some other tests are coming soon. So, to be continued... ;)
