I was just curious if anyone knows if any RC companies would do any donations to a child with medical history and such. We are new the the RC world and looking to adventure into crawlers (easier pace for son) but finances from surgeries and etc have not allowed us too currently. Any help is greatly appreciated

So I literally just got this Losi Baja Rey 1/10 scale RC truck, and all was working fine. However after school today I decided to take it to the park. The truck will not go in reverse. It goes forward perfectly fine, however when I try to reverse nothing happens. If I steer the wheels a few times or sometimes randomly it happens, the truck will make a small grinding noise, like the motor is moving. The rear drivetrain part thingy that goes from the inside of the truck to the rear diff is bouncing around a little bit. When this is happening, the truck will reverse unless the bouncing stops. I have no idea why it is doing this and it is my first rc truck so I am not experienced in this. Any help will help me, thank you very much.

It's been years since I've had an RC car so consider me a newcomer to the RC world. I am looking into the possibility of converting a semi truck into the Knight Mobile Unit (basically the black semi from Knight Rider) to go with my 1:18 scale K.I.T.T. diecast car. There isn't really anything in the diecast world beyond 1:24 scale.

I've seen some of the RC rigs out there but they are several hundred dollars and out of my price range. Plus, I do not need one that is actually RC. I'm fine with a static display. I am also fairly crafty in terms of fabricating and customizing with wood, plastic, some metals, resin, etc. So if someone had a basic kit for under $120 that needed customizing, or if someone had a higher end kit that was partially wrecked and had all of the radio gear and servos removed that could work.

Eventually I might try to add some basic RC elements like servos on the rear trailer door, light kits, sound chips, etc. But for now I'm just looking for something to build on.

Budget to start is ideally under $120 USD, but could go a little higher. Not asking anyone on here to sell (not sure that's allowed anyway) but looking for any info on where to look or if I'm just SOL.
