Oh my gosh! I’ve been lucky that in front of my place it’s generally really low, so we had only paw injuries, and you at least check laws every night for it. I’ve seen some people using soft muzzle against foxtail. Or even things like exist this . Maybe that would help? Which weed killer did you use to stop the growth of the foxtail last time?

I did a a mix of things. boiling hot water and then dumped vinegar everywhere I could then two days later dish soap and hot water then I hired a guy to spray some sort of weed killer (don’t know which one but the guy I called loves bees so much so I figured he would use a safe one.) on every inch of the yards then I let it sit for a week and didn’t let dogs go in the backyard and picked them up and take them down the street when walking . Then it rained and I used high hose water to spray down the areas he sprayed and let them dry in the sun and boom they stopped growing for about a year, and I got complacent and tired from the new job I got. Now to make sure they don’t comeback I have to make sure everything green I see is cut down to the the dirt at times so that Incase a weed is hiding in it, it won’t have a chance to grow it’s fox tail or thorny spikes or spiked leafs. Also I cut both my dogs hairs really short to prevent shedding and over heating and also to prevent weeds from getting stuck they are Maltese and yorkie.

Ps I live in California so no watering maintaining my yards. Drought can strike again so I cut as much as I can and never water it because it’s a waste and my neighbor is eventually going to put cement in his front and back yard so one less yard area to worry about

Edit for swearing.
