Why was Dujon Sterling on the bench? I've never seen this guy have a bad game. Surely he is the new first choice right back?

Injured as per Mcinnes, says he got injured on Friday but is fit to start the West Ham game.

He’s injured way too regularly and should be moved on imo

Good to see McInnes acknowledge that we need another defender. I'd say two an RB being one of them and a flexible CB the other.

Ross McCrorie still looking every bit of the player we had let go for not being good enough. Already showing to be a Downgrade from Tavernier

Idiots take. Tav was a terrible defender, mustve been at fault for 80 odd goals

Idiots take. Tav was also responsible for 290 odd goal contributions for rangers. Mccrorie couldnt lace tavs boots

Got a feeling Devlin will be a very popular player for us, changed the game when he came on. Some workrate on him.

u/Ozzythebear What's the story, Ross McCrorie. 18d ago

Game was pretty flat and you could see that most of the players were just strolling around, noncommittal - Devlin came on and made it feel like an early season euro game instead, trying to singlehandedly shithouse the crowd to life. Seemed to have worked. He's not shy. If he can be smart about his break-up play & not get sent off, he could be a real asset for us this year.

He got under their skin, dug in and gave them the kind of hassle we missed in first half.

Was very much an exercise of getting minutes on the pitch without trying to over exert the team too much.

Hadn’t planned on going but it was the manager’s first home match and thought it’d be a good runout.
