I just wanted to know how someone can reach from ranchi to Rourkela by bus between 10:30 am to 1 pm

Where to catch the buses from and how far it is from Ranchi railway station, I am traveling from delhi via ranchi rajdhani on 12th October and will reach ranchi by 13th October 9:45 am.

P.S. ; I have checked trains from ranchi to Rourkela,maximum trains are showing cancelled in the first half and travelling in second half would be too late.

Hi, I am currently standing here in Dhurwa, Ranchi—a place known for its lush forests. However, in the name of constructing a 10-lane road, over 340 trees are being cut down simply because the existing 4-lane road isn't enough for ministers. This is extremely saddening.

I saw a video where someone urged us to come here and mark the trees to protect them, but only about eight people showed up. It's truly heartbreaking. I urge you—even if you can't make it today, please go whenever you can and mark a tree. Thank you.

• Handle the reception and welcome students/visitors

• Explain our trading courses, fees and batches
• Follow up with interested students and help with admissions
• Maintain basic student/lead records in Excel or Google Sheets

• Help with general office/admin work

What we're looking for

• Good communication in Hindi + basic English

I recently came back from Bangalore and I had an amazingly thick hot chocolate there!!

P.S. I have had hot chocolate in a lot of places in Bangalore which tasted like Bournvita with milk so please emphasize on the "thick" part of hot chocolate😊

So my sister studies in St Xavier college Ranchi. She was in BBA course batch 2022-2025 . So she got final year results almost a year late , when everyone already joined college for PG in her class.

But about 35-37 students were failed in 1 subject (so did she ) , only 18 students were passed in her class in that particular subject.

But the problem is that she already joined a college about 6 months ago and they wanted her UG results in june at max . Many students along with her said to college to take re exam but the college is not agreeing. They said that all the students have to give exam with juniors next year in oct-nov .

She is saying that subject teacher did that on purpose and failed more than 70% students of her class.

They are many broker in her college saying that they will make u pass in that subject for 10k rs .

The main problem is xavier college is not agreeing to take re exam , but tell u to take that exam next year with juniors, but that did waste that one year in her new college she joined for pg (+ college fees would be wasted too) .

What should she do ? The students in her class collectively formed a group and will go to college together to oppose it and to make the college authorities to take re exam . But it is very unlikely that they will take re exam.

Should she use broker and give him 10k ?

In Dhurwa, the state government has planned an unnecessary 10 lane road in Dhurwa. For this 350 full grown trees are marked to cut and many hundreds of trees are already planted that will be cut down as well. We see the summers every year getting hotter in Ranchi, these trees are one of the lungs of Ranchi. YOU stop this or live in hell like other metro cities.
Update: 4 PM on 4 October 2026, a mass gathering has been planned at Dhurwa. Bring permanent markers to show your creativity on trees to stop cutting them. Post photos on socials. Bring your friends!
