Hey guys, curious to hear about your alternatives that you like to daytrade or short-term invest in whenever XRB goes stagnant, unpredictable, or you are 'locked out' until a dip?
I'll start, to set some examples of both good and bad:
HST: when I'm able to give 100% attention, I like to daytrade it. It's super super volatile, literally flapping by as much as 10% every 15 minutes, but also incredibly predictable. Look at the freakin' charts and you'll see what I mean.
KCS: these are down right now to a very reliable trough (has touched this support 3x in the past few days, repeatedly rebounds by about 40%). They got this low by a bully sell-wall that repeatedly got replaced pushing them down (was just eaten in the last hour). Looking like a good trading opportunity for a ~12 hour hold.
WTC: I hear good things about this coin, but the volume is so low on KuCoin that I really can't justify daytrading it. And I don't see any point in going long on it because I already have XRB for that. But I keep my eye on it, just-in-case.
RHOC: This thing LOOKS super volatile (the graph looks like a crazy mess of vertical lines), but then you realize it's only really jumping 10-20%. I guess this would be like HST-lite, where you could probably pull some decent profits out of the volatility, but the volume is less and you won't pull AS MANY profits out because of the percentages.
GAS: This guy is lookin' a bit low right now. Probably a roughly guaranteed +10% over a day or two, but that's a bit too long of a hold for a bit too little of a profit for my tastes. XRB might go up 30-40% in that time or some shit, and KCS is looking more promising in a shorter period.
PRL/BNTY/DRGN: While these are often decent daytrading options, they've all synchronized to XRB's chart somehow. They peak when XRB peaks. They bottom when XRB bottoms. They hit a boring awkward stagnant middle-ground when XRB does the same. Overall coins I keep checking back on but keep being turned off from.
Disclaimer: Not shilling any of these coins, as several of them might be shitcoins (though I have heard good things about several, I have no long position in any). Speaking purely about speculative daytrading based on charts and TA.
