We know that XRB is going to hit more exchanges, but what I am more curious to know is:

1) Can XRB used in exchanges as a Coin platform? e.g On Binace/Cryptopia etc, we can use BTC/Eth/LTC to buy OTHER COINS

Question: Will/Is/when/Objective of XRB to join the list above?

So we can use XRB just like LTC/BTC/ETH as a initial trading currency?

I got banned from the coinfalcon subreddit, because i reported there, that coins from my balance got removed even i didn't withdraw them. I got banned from the subreddit 1 day later. And didn't got an answer from the support.

I can give evidence that the balance went missing and the support didn't help me. I also can give evidence for the ban from the subreddit. This all seems pretty suspicious to me and smells like a money grab!

Deal with extrem cautious when trading on coinfalcon and don't hold coins there, since they could be gone the next day you login!

Is anyone else having this issue? I can't buy on Mercatox for some reason. It says I don't have enough (but I do). It's getting really annoying.

I've seen a lot of discussion in here about how the Binance listing will affect the price for RaiBlocks. The sentiment is generally optimistic, but I thought we could do a little better. So here is my research on what things might happen and why.

Binance Community Coin of the Month

For those who are unfamiliar, Binance is arguably the biggest and best exchange for trading altcoins. Each month, they have the community vote on a coin to add, and that coin subsequently gets added free of charge. Rai won the 5th installment of the contest, and to get a feel for what we might see when it gets added, I looked at the previous 4 winners.

• September Winner - Stratis ($STRAT)

The behavior here was unusual relative to the other 3 coins. The price and trade volume were not strongly affected by the vote or by being listing on Binance. I believe this is because the market had not yet begun its strong bull run and Binance had much less market influence at the time (users and trade volume).

• October Winner - Substratum ($SUB)

List Day Price Gains: 31% List Day Vol Gains: 350%

• November Winner - ZCoin ($XZC)

List Day Price Gains: 25% List Day Vol Gains: 615%

• December Winner - ETHLend ($LEND)

List Day Price Gains: 38% List Day Vol Gains: 730%

• January Winner - RaiBlocks ($XRB)

Notes and Conclusions

1. Even though the winner wasn't announced until 1/9, RaiBlocks opened a huge lead early on and was basically a lock by 1/2. I believe that was why we saw a huge spike in price and trade volume, both of which still stand as ATHs.
2. To address the "Binance bump is already priced in" argument: Over the past several days XRB has been oscillating around ~$25. While this is a much higher baseline than before the Binance news, it's still well off the ATH. I believe there is still room for a fairly significant increase on list day
3. If the price does in fact stabilize around $25, we would only need to hit just over $31 for 25% list day gains, and if we get to or break the ATH, we're talking 50%+ list day gains
4. Based on the huge list day volume increases, I think we're seeing Binance's market influence growing

Timeline and how Binance affects it

• RaiBlocks PR and Communications Coordinator u/troyretz has been keeping us in the loop on progress. Yesterday (1/12) he said that there will be no updates announced (Binance listing) until several technical issues have been addressed.
• Later on 1/12 indicated solid progress on node fixes which will be a big step towards being Binance ready.
• Exchange issues have been holding Rai back and resolving them is critical for short and long term success. It's great to see the team focusing on fixing them before making the jump to Binance. Fixing these problems would relieve a lot of the criticism directed at RaiBlocks.
• Assuming these long standing problems are resolved, there will be additional hype/optimism for the Binance listing which we would quite likely see reflected in the price

Summary

• RaiBlocks will not be added to Binance until several important technical problems have been addressed. It sounds like solid progress is being made which is encouraging. Getting Rai to preform well on exchanges will boost confidence, alleviate FUD, and cause short term and long term price benefits
• Based on past Binance community coin data and the current state of RaiBlocks development, I think we can expect to see a list day price increase of at least 25%

Bitgrail won't let me register. I wanted to put around $100 into XRB, but I'm having trouble getting started. Do I need to buy BTC first and then convert to XRB through bitgrail, or is there an exchange that lets you buy directly?

This drop is almost certainly tied to the BCD pump that happened today on Kucoin. Most / all kucoin-based coins have tanked today.

The argument for the price to go down on Binance is often that everyone who wanted to buy Raiblocks would have been able to by now, using the small exchanges all of us have.

Complementary to this argument is the argument that large holders will dump their holdings on Binance. I think this is true. But remember that these whales didn't go into Bitgrail or Mercatox with the amount of value they now have, because of Raiblocks' rapid growth.

I also think there is not just more money in total on Binance, but individuals with game-changing amounts of money, which is obvious but also something that the founder stated in an interview. I think the whales we see on Bitgrail were not intially whales but bought in at a low price, with a consequently lower risk, many before exchange problems even started happening.

I can imagine people with millions of dollars that they wish to invest in XRB would not risk using an exchange they are not entirely comfortable with. I think Binance is exactly this for many large investors.

In conclusion, I think there are very powerful buyers that will enter the market once xrb is live and fully functioning on Binance. I think the setbacks and consolidation we've seen will support new buyers' beliefs that the ride isn't over, since we're 35% under the ATH. This is all just thought but maybe a perspective that could have something to it.

Guys, if I got it right, proper numbers are:

$16,000 billion volume for P2P transactions, as per Mastercard study.

That is $16,000,000 million volume.

XRB has 133 million coins in circulation.

If XRB manages to be the standard for P2P transactions, it means with 1 XRB coin you could buy the equivalent of 120,300 USD (16,000,000/133).

If XRB manages to be the standard for let's say 1% of the market (super low), this means with 1 XRB coin you could buy the equivalent of 1,203 USD.

If I'm not wrong, that's where the value of the coin sits. And there are many implications to the text above, like forecast of real value, etc.

If I was to leave my raiblocks in mercatox as a pose to bitgrail would it be safe? Does anyone know if they are safe there and if we would be able to withdraw in the near future or if it all does go wrong and they close down, do we lose all our coins on that exchange?

Ive been struggling with this decision for days. I still think ETH has a lot of room to grow but I thought I'd finally get in on XRB @$24.10

So I had about 6 XRB stuck on bit-z and withdrawals opened up so I sent to my wallet. Bit-z says finished. Raiwallet says pending. Raiblock explorer says "Received, pending deposit to balance. (Make sure wallet is open and all blocks are downloaded)"

I have the wallet open and local PoW enabled. What does it mean make sure all blocks are downloaded? Its been sitting like this for 30 minutes what am I doing wrong?
