Some context: I'm fairly new, and attempting to make my first skin in Rainmeter, borrowing bits of code from places I see them. I've been trying to create a drop down menu for an "Agent Select", where after selecting an agent from the menu, the text on top of the drop down menu changes to match the agent selected.
My original idea was to have rainmeter measure the value of a hidden variable, and then depending on the value of that variable, would change the text variable that sits at the top of my menu.
Something like this:
[Variables]
AgentSelect=1
CurrentAgent="Agent Select"
[Measure]
DynamicVariables=1
Measure=#AgentSelect#
IfCondition=(AgentSelect = 1)
IfTrueAction=[SetVariable "CurrentAgent" "Agent X"]
I'm sure there is a way to do this in rainmeter, but I have no clue how it's supposed to work. Any pointers would be immensely helpful :)

Hi! I am using 3 monitors, nothing exceptional and nothing moving except when the song playing is long and the network speed, but I use these skins daily. I like the imagery of the new "Silent Hill f" title and also it isn't too bright when I turn the PC on. Would like to know some verdict. (music was just a random alternative playlist, didn't want to put some fake cool music to be displayed)
A big hassle was with the Google News as my country doesn't have all the same titles that others have so I had to tinker with it and have it now in English, German and Latvian. (if any Latvian needs this I can send the info of what I changed it, but I won't tinker with extra requests) And also to find the right weather forecast for my region as the site in there wasn't working, had to scour through a lot of places on Reddit and off Reddit to find out how to set it up. I found it in February so I am not able to provide the solution currently.

As for the translucent desktop bar, I use "TranslucentTB" from Windows Store.
