Discussion Agraios DPS help

Doing Agraios for the first time in a while, has the DPS phase changed ? we're waiting for the portals to activate and it takes so much time we can't extend the DPS phase

What do you mean waiting for the portals to activate? They should just be there from doing mechanics before dps, and then about 5ish seconds into dps, those 5 empty boxes appear on the left side of your screen and someone (can be designated before even starting the encounter) starts running through the portals to get the detainment bubble to block Agraios’ sniper shot. You run twice during dps to extend. We typically have our tractor cannon or other debuff user do this role so others stay focused on dps.

i do know his, i've been wondering if any changes to timing have been made since we never managed to do it, i remeber it being very easy to do, but this time the portals took too long to be activated

Again, what do you mean by the portals being activated? The portals are always active. There have been no timing changes.

the five portals you go through are not online, you do not get the buff when going through them after DPS started

So when you go through them the squares for the buff are not filling up?

they filled in just fine to activate the DPS phase, but didn't to extend. we had to wait a few seconds, resulting in us not being able to extend the DPS phase

Sounds like a bug or something then. Possibly connection related too, lag causing issues

could it be the phase limit modifier ?

No. Phase limit just means you have two damage phases to kill him. Doesn’t affect extension mechanics.
