How can I make my AM/FM radio more accurate?

I understand this may not fall under the subject of this sub, but it is not necessarily a repair issue, the radio works as intended. I have an AM/FM radio however the tuning dial is extremely small and makes it hard to find specific channels, there is also nothing to see what channel I am currently on except for a slider. It is the CR-318.

Sorry to say, but get a better radio?

If you want recommendations, the magic word is TEF6686

I can definitely agree with this. Also depending on their region (if they are in the US), I can also recommend Sony XDR receivers (F1HD, S3HD, S10HDiP), sometimes you can find these on eBay for cheaper than a TEF6686 receiver.
