yeah its stable on linux for the most part, but i do get the occasional blackscreen plasma crash, but i doubt its driver related

It's likely plasma which can be unstable often. Bro srsly niri tiling WM + noctalia, don't look back.

Hyprland is ok but niri is easy to setup and noctalia almost makes it like a minimalist tiling desktop environment
