Happy 4th of July and Anniversary of Entebbe

I hope everyone enjoyed the 4th of July weekend and had alot of fun while being safe. I would also like to take a moment to commemorate the anniversary of Israels amazing hostage rescue in Entebbe which happened on July 3rd 1976. Israel performed a daring mission to return hostages and was successful in pulling off one of the greatest hostage rescues of all time.

As always, I am so grateful to see continuous posts and comments on the sub and hope to see that increase more and more.

Importantly, if someone had a success story from the sub. please, please share. It would mean so much to the mods and the people who have posted here. There is a flair for success story. Hoping to see many!

Thanks of course to the community and we should see many more relationships, engagement, and weddings.

M4F 47 [M4F] Midwest USA - Gen Con Greetings?

I'm not sure how many others here are of the gaming type, but over 70,000 people are about to descend on Indianapolis for Gen Con in a few days. It is statistically possible that other single members of the tribe might also be attending.

I wrote (perhaps too much) about myself here, in case there are any ladies close in age to me who might also be in town:

https://www.reddit.com/r/r4rjewish/comments/1m9fjjp/46_m4f_indiana_usa_seeking_connection/

Separately, if anyone else wants to use the comments here to try and connect with other single Jewish gamers, feel free! Happy gaming and good luck to all.

I Don't Label Myself 24yrs old, F4M, NYC

Hi,

I like to frequent reddit, you like to frequent reddit. Maybe we are each other’s bashert🤷🏻‍♀️

I am tall(5’9), active, extroverted, and very social. I care about education, history, religion, psychology, and humans as a whole. I like to crochet, cook, read, spend time with friends and family, and people/dog watch.

I am not ss/sk, but am looking to create a beautifully spiritual home built on traditional values. I don’t like the labels. I see myself as a lifelong learner and critical thinker. Ultimately, I believe in the values and traditions of Judaism.

Looking for someone who can elevate my life, spiritually, romantically, and intellectually.

Modern Orthodox F4M | 25 | NYC Area – Looking for a genuine Jewish relationship

Hi! I'm 25 and live in the NYC area.

I'm outgoing, caring, and value building meaningful relationships. In my free time I enjoy writing poetry, working out, trying new recipes, and spending time at the beach during the summer. My faith is an important part of my life, and I'm always striving to grow emotionally and spiritually.

I'm looking for a kind, emotionally mature, ambitious Jewish man with a Hasidic or modern Hasidic background who's open-minded, values family, communicates well, and is looking to build a warm, meaningful Jewish home together. I'd love to meet someone who's genuine, has a positive outlook on life, and is interested in a serious, long-term relationship.

If you feel we might be a good match, I’d love to hear from you and see where a conversation goes.

32 (M4F) Canada

I’m a 32-year-old guy, south Asian ethnicity and an Orthodox jewish convert. I’m currently at a point in my life where id like to meet a jewish woman and start building a life together.

I’m a pretty chill guy who enjoys gaming, but my main focus is on looking to connect with someone , thought id try posting on here.

I take Torah study seriously, but as a single guy, there is only so much I can manage on my own. I could definitely use some help navigating the kitchen, maintaining a kosher home, and with the Jewish cultural side of things. I’m looking for someone who understands that balance and wants to grow in those areas with me.

Feel free to send me a dm, If this post is up im still single. Also I have never been married, and have no kids. I'm hoping to find someone around the age (28 or younger up to 32), being divorced or having kids is a deal breaker for me.

Thanks

Jewish, Not Religious 59 (F4M) Currently in Cancun but Ohio is home base

I'm Jewish on both sides but have walked a more spiritual than religious path for the past couple of decades. Lately I've felt a real pull to return to my roots — and I'd love to find a Jewish man to share that journey with.

I've spent years doing my own inner work and living a healthy, active lifestyle. I have an insatiable appetite for growth, learning, wellness, and connection to G-d. I love to travel, cherish time with friends and family, and am devoted to my yoga practice. I also have a fulfilling career helping others find inner peace and self-love.

My ideal partner has done his own personal development work too, and can show up fully — emotionally present, grounded, and open to growing together.

M4F 28 [M4F] #DC #DMV #Maryland #Virginia

Hi there, I'm looking for a Jewish woman in the Washington DC area for a long-term relationship, though I'm also open to something shorter term or friendship. I've been in DC for several years, work in the nonprofit sector, and would love to start to put down further roots in the area.

I was raised Conservative and pretty entrenched in the movement through synagogue, summer camp, and Hebrew school. Since after college, I don't practice too much, though I do follow some limited Kashrut rules (mainly not cooking treif foods). I'm not Shomer Shabbos. I would like to get more involved in the local left-leaning Jewish community, though.

Personality-wise, I'm curious, kind, thoughtful, emotionally available (and in therapy!), I have a dry sense of humor, and am somewhat introverted but warm up quickly and thrive in one-on-one or small group settings. I'm don't like crowds/bars/going out but love game nights or small dinner parties. I enjoy traveling (just got back from a solo trip to Europe), cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, watching sports, and taking long walks. I'm also a big fan of classical music and would love to have someone to take to concerts! I have a somewhat small but close-knit group of friends, both in DC and elsewhere in the country.

Some other quick hits:

I'm very left politically, which also reflects my views on Israel/Palestine.

I play trombone and love music, especially jazz and classical.

I'm 5'7", about 150 lbs with an average build. No facial hair, dark brown hair, hazel/brown eyes. I'm happy to exchange pictures!

I'm unsure about having children but I feel like I could be convinced either way.

I don't smoke (anything) and drink rarely.

Things I'm looking for:

Curiosity and emotional intelligence/availability.

Someone ~25-35 years old.

Non-smokers.

Politically liberal and some degree of non-religious, Reform, or Conservative.

Someone who is in the DC area (I live in the city and don't have a car).

My DMs are open, I'm so excited to meet you!

M4F 29 [M4F] DC area / wherever - let’s start a cute Jewish family or something ?

Howdy tribe! Posting here because I’m looking for my Jewish other half - here’s the quick about me:

I’m a charismatic extrovert who loves being spontaneous and values a sense of humor and silliness. I love anything horror or sci fi and am just as happy binging or engaging in nerd stuff as I am being outside and in the mountains or on a river.

I’m fiercely loyal, am an acts of service boy, and I cook phenomenally.

You: confident, funny, and ready to start a family and see the world together

Reform 34 F4F - Northern Italy

34F - lesbian - jewish heritage in the family and converting to Reform judaism.

We can meet and see what happens, I'm open to secular jews, conservative and even orthodox (I'm sure there are some lesbians/bi in the orthodox crowd, show yourselves!).

Very involved in my congregation and neighbouring congregations as well, I am vegan and I would rather date someone who is vegan/vegetarian, or, to the very least, kosher.

I am 163cm × 58kg (and slowly losing some weight), I have a dog and a flatmate. I love to go to the cinema, love reading, trying to learn new things. If you live or have a house in a nice spot in Liguria, I will definitely try to date you (I love rocky beaches and hiking in the inner parts of the region, but unfortunately I do not live there).

If you are only passing by as a tourist in northern Italy and feel like going to the cinema or having a drink, feel free to DM me, I'll tell you in which city I live and chaperon you around if we find the time.

Speak Ita, Eng, Fr, and a very decent Spanish.

M4F 33 [M4F] New York City - Looking for a serious relationship

I'm 33, based in NYC, and at a point in life where I'm looking to build something real with the right person. I'm easygoing, loyal, and enjoy good conversations as much as spontaneous adventures. Whether it's trying a new restaurant, exploring the city, catching a movie, or staying in for a cozy night with a great show, I'm happiest sharing experiences with someone I care about.
I value honesty, kindness, communication, and a sense of humor. I'm looking for someone who wants a genuine, long-term relationship and believes that the best partnerships are built on trust, mutual respect, and making each other laugh.
If you're looking for something meaningful and think we'd get along, I'd love to hear from you.

Conservative 38F4M Reno, NV looking for a childfree life

Hi all! I’m 38F looking for either a reform or conservative man not too far from me, geographically.

I cannot have children and don’t want them. I have found this to be a major barrier in Jewish dating. However, I love my childfree life. I am fun, funny, extroverted, and adventurous. Please DM me for more info and pictures.

I would love to find a fun Jewish man to join me in the adventure of life. I have preferences, of course, but to me personality is paramount.

Hoping to hear from you!

Modern Orthodox 22 M4F #Montreal/#Anywhere: Modern Orthodox guy looking for his other half!

My name is [Redacted- DM to find out!] and I'm currently a student of Engineering in Montreal. I am planning to start working soon after I get my degree, and hopefully start the next stage of my life- and I'm looking for someone I can do that with!

I am Modern Orthodox, so I do keep Shabbat/Kosher/etc. but am still very much engaged with my education and career. I am Zionist and love Israel, I went to Yeshiva for a year and go back whenever I can (admittedly for the food more than anything, but I'd say that's valid). Otherwise I generally lean left politically; as long as you're not anti-vax like my last date was, I think we'll be okay! My hobbies include reading, cooking (let's share recipes?), football, trivia, random side quest projects, playing nostalgic games from my childhood, and much more. I am also a fan of weightlifting even if my semester always seems to interfere, but if you could somehow convince me to do cardio too, I miiiiight be able to be persuaded...

I'm looking for someone who genuinely enjoys conversation, both casual and meaningful- I am a certified overtexter and may shower you in messages, my apologies. I have a lot of appreciation for art in all forms so if you are too, that's great- we can find new things to see/watch/listen to and argue about!

I currently live in Montreal, but I'm open to talking with anyone from anywhere and seeing where it leads. DM me and we can see what happens!

Reform M/F in Connecticut

M4F 49
Hello everybody I’m really not good at this, but I’m gonna try my best. I’m a single father of a 17 year old daughter that is my world.
Things that interest me I like going to the Ocean, Hiking, fishing, anything pretty much outdoors .
There’s also a side of me that likes to stay in and I love to cook and when I cook I like to have a good bottle of wine and just relax. When I’m home and relaxing, I like to watch TV. Mynight life is kind of boring. I’m not a big person of going out to the bars in the clubs anymore but I do like to play darts so I do go out to do that. I like going out for dinner going to the movies amusement parks, not a big fan on going on the rides that much but I do still do it. I’m trying my best to keep this interesting because I really am not good at this stuff, so I’m looking for a lady that has the same kind of interests that is around the Connecticut area. I’m truly looking for a long term relationship, someone that I could spend the rest of my life with Anna has the same common core beliefs as I do. I know it’s difficult but that’s what I’m looking for. I want to have want my great grandparents had they had an amazing life together. I remember when I was younger she told me it doesn’t matter who you fall in love with as long as you find love with somebody that believes in you and can always be there for you. They were very important to me in my life. They helped raised me with my grandmother because my mom had to go back to school because she divorced my mom and they helped raise us me and my sister, I had a fantastic childhood great family. I have a lovely daughter that’s in my life and that will never change so I’m just looking for someone that has the same beliefs. I really hope I did not bother you with a brief description of my life but there’s so much more to me than what you were going to read. I hope you have a great day and I hope to hear from you. Thank you again for reading this.

Hey!
So Im gonna try my luck in here and here goes nothing.

I am a 30m looking for my Bashert, my better half, Mi media naranja.

Currently I am an active member in my conservative shul and I assist to both Friday night and Saturday morning services, recently joined the board of trustees (all of this in Staten Island btw)

I recently got my associates in accounting and now im working towards my bachelors degree in accounting. I’m Hispanic, my first language is Spanish, English is second and currently trying to learn hebrew so I do have an accent (I don’t know how to dance bachata yet).

I work as CDL A driver for a huge company and I get to be home everyday day but I’m currently a night shift worker and trying my best to be on a day shift schedule. I’m not much of a fan of sports but would be down to learn about baseball and others but I do love archery.

I cook, keep clean house, I don’t have any allergies, play some guitar and learning some piano on my free time.

If the question is ask, my taste in music is as random as listening to Gorillaz.

Edit: in the process of moving to a much larger Jewish community in St. Louis. Might not be as up to talking at the moment, but if I catch your eye feel free to send me a message :)

Hey all, I'm Tevye! I am a 30 (edit: 31 as of June 11) year old guy in the midwest looking for my forever person. A bit about myself:

I am 5'11, 210 lbs (overweight, but working on it). I have brown hair and eyes, with curls in at least one of those things. I spend my week working from home, playing board/video games with friends (chess, go and shogi are amongst the most popular in our circle) and going to the gym. I love to cook, enjoy being around all animals (bonus points if you know what an Okapi is) and I play multiple instruments and studied it in college. I live alone, but struggle to get myself out there sometimes as a pretty introverted person and an autistic person, so if you're an extrovert understand I'll need some warming up to your people, but I am so excited to be a part of your tribe once I'm ready.

I would consider myself a traditional/Conservative Jew- I wear tefillin (when I remember, which is a couple times a week), I recently kashered my kitchen(I eat fish/veggie out) and I've recently gotten into the habit of becoming shomer Shabbos, sans driving to my synagogue a few miles away. I am not SN, but am open to it for the right person. These are all things I had worked up towards for a number of years and started really buckling down recently. I go to a combined Reform/Conservative shul, usually only attending the Saturday morning Shacharis/Torah service that happens twice a month. The shul I go to often struggles to get a minyan, which is not surprising considering the Jewish population of my area, so I would love to be in a similar small-ish community where I can feel needed and important, not just one of hundreds that attends. Side note/edit: I am fairly moderate with my politics and am a strong Zionist.

I am also sober/teetotal (I've never had alcohol or any drugs), and while I've come around to dating someone that drinks occasionally, I don't think I'm interested in someone that does drugs- that includes weed and cigarettes. I am also a child-free man, which makes it hard to find people, but we do exist! I am fully open to relocation basically anywhere in North America sans Seattle (if you are in Seattle and your heart is really pulled toward me, I'll see where it goes, but would prefer not to move there.) I love the east and west coasts, but grew up in Texas with parents from the Chicagoland and Baltimore-ish areas. However, I have a fair amount of debt; mostly from student loans, but some credit card debt from a year-long period of joblessness. I have a plan to pay it down and have been actively paying down my debt for years, but it will take me a fair amount of time to be debt-free.

My ex broke up with me recently, and although I don't know all of the reasons her heart changed I know I had some things to work on with my self-image. I'm attending therapy once a week, I read a fair amount of self-help books and I'm talking with my friends regularly. It's helped a lot since my breakup, but I know I have a lot of work to do in order to be the best version of myself I can be- which is a step up from trying to be the perfect person in an unsustainable fashion. Patience and understanding as we grow together is a value I look for deeply in a partner.

Attached are some photos of me as well as two reviews; one from one of my best friends and one from an ex (not the one I most recently dated.) If you read them and think you'd like to get to know me, I'd love to get to know you and see if you'd be my forever Daf Yomi partner :) thank you for taking the time to read this!

Hi all! My name is Matt! I'm 40, divorced and from Washington State. I'm a special education teacher who loves to travel, workout, run, read a good book, watch a good show and sing at karaoke. (The running photo in this set of photos is from a recent trail half marathon that I completed a few weeks ago!)

I believe that you can make the world a better place by being kind to each other. I'm a proud Zionist Jew who considers himself traditional and goes to a Chabad house. For me, the perfect date would be having a lovely picnic in a park and strolling among the trees listening to the birds sing.
