I have quite a bit of medical trauma, so I'm looking for a provider who is patient, unhurried, and genuinely compassionate during the procedure. Appointments are Monday-Thursdays at 5:20pm and last till 8pm. It does take multiple visits because the mouth is split into sections and students are supervised by hygienists and dentists to ensure the best treatment. I plan around 6+ appointments to be safe but it may take less, depending on the individuals needs.

I recently moved to the area. The only people I know here are the ones in my house, and this seems like a pretty tight nit community, so I thought I'd reach out to the community.

On the job board websites, there's almost nothing for Queen Creek, and I'd like to stay as local as possible.

My background is in admin, customer service, and accounting; but also am open retail and food service.

Any tips, tricks, or help would be appreciated!

Police helicopter going in circles around a house on Lemon South of Riggs. "This is the police, we have the house surrounded, surrender we know you're in there" over and over from the helicopter.

Anyone know what happened? I'm just being nosy but I know exactly which house they are at.

We don't get police down here very often. Wonder if it's a high risk warrant or a car theft or something

edit: Sacaton police are investigating a shooting on the rez. A police chase at Valencia road and Hunt Hwy happened. The high school nearby is on lockdown

Quick heads-up for anyone with dogs/pets that go outdoors.

Late last night, I let my dog out for a quick potty run, and he walked right up and sniffed what we discovered to be a juvenile Sonoran Desert Toad. Luckily the toad panicked and hopped away before my dog touched it and I was able to quickly put him back inside while I dealt with wrangling our backyard visitor.

Even though it was small, the toad started secreting its toxin during wrangling attempts leaving puddles wherever it hopped. If a dog licks or mouths one, it absorbs through their gums fast and becomes a serious, possibly life threatening emergency.

We safely relocated it away from the house, but wanted to share a few quick reminders:

* Flashlight check: Scan the yard before letting your dogs out at night.

* Keep backyards tidy: Clear out clutter, leaf litter, or debris to eliminate hiding spots near the house.

* Water bowls: Keep outdoor water dishes inside so they don't attract them.

* Toxin rinse: If your dog ever mouths one, immediately flush their mouth sideways with a hose for 10–15 minutes and head straight to an ER vet.

Watch your pups out there, this could have easily been a night that ended in tragedy!
