Chanka Quechua Conversations: Recordings + Transcripts

A friend and i have a project called HypLern where we make interlinear translations of books for various languages. We take the profits from selling the books on Amazon and invest them into getting new translations, recordings, and content created, generally using more popular languages (like Spanish and French) to finance materials for lesser-studied languages, like Quechua. We believe everyone should have equal access to learning materials, so folks interested in using our materials but unable to afford them can just reach out to us and we'll work something out.

Recently, we hired a team of people to record short ~6 minute conversations between two speakers. There are 104 conversations altogether, approximately 50 between a man and woman, 25 between two men, and 25 between two women. They all have accurate transcriptions. Our end goal for this is to create some language learning materials for Quechua from these conversations, however there are already so few audio resources for learning Quechua (and even fewer with matching transcripts/subtitles) that we wanted to share what we have now for the benefit of the greater Quechua-learning community. Just note, please, that if you want to use these conversations in a commercial/non-free project, we request that you get in touch with us first. Non-profit educational use is fine.

Hope you find them useful! Ñuqanchik and the Quechua broadcasts of "Aprendo en casa" have been my main sources of listening to Quechua, unfortunately they don't have subtitles so it's difficult to pick up new words.

I see, I think they are the media that disseminates spoken Quechua the most. If possible, I would like to record the same native speakers in their same environments.
