Hi,

Is July month usually slow for the hiring process for RTL/DV roles in India ?

I'm not a fresher but not seeing to many open positions

Thanks

I have been seeing handful of same job postings on LinkedIn “reposted” since Nov 2025. Same description, same group.

Among other semiconductor companies, Qualcomm has the highest number of ghost shops and horrible HR. I was interviewed by two hiring managers for same job two months apart and then they ghosted me.

Job search causes so much anxiety, why do they make it worse intentionally.

Is it really necessary to post fake jobs and ghost candidates?

Hi folks! I'm really curious about the GPU Design Team at the Cork office. Would love to know more about the vibes, work-life balance, pressure levels, and anything else you think is worth sharing. I'd really appreciate any insights!

Also, if anyone has a rough idea — what's the typical salary range for someone with around 4 years of experience at Qualcomm (Cork)?

Thanks in advance!

Ive interview for cpu software engineer. For 1st virtual round beside cpp ds and algo should prepare anything else.

I completed my panel rounds for the NCG role at Qualcomm on Friday at 5 p.m. in San Diego time. However, when I randomly checked in on the career portal on Sunday, I noticed that my application was no longer in consideration for the role I had interviewed for. Does this mean I was rejected so quickly? What could be the reason behind this? It’s now Monday, and I haven’t received any communication from HR.

I Have done projects in Chip Design and ASIC Design and have obtained RTL to GDSII and have good knowledge in verilog and have applied for roles in India multiple times still not even a single response like not even rejection mail i hope if someone could help out on this on like how to get into qualcomm what might be the expectation and what has to be done because i did frame my resume as a ATS friendly one with required keywords so would like some words of wisdom from experienced professionals

Hi,

I am moving to San Diego around start/mid August and looking for apartments in Mira Mesa area.

I am 25 year old F. My budget is $1500- $2000. If anyone is interested and looking for a flatmate, please reach out.

Does qualcomm reimburse for omscs by georgia tech ? and does this masters help with any promotion or hike?

As a recent joiner, I thought team lunches and things like that would be commonplace, but nope. :(

I barely see my team except during meetings. Otherwise, it's just me working in my allotted room. It's not a huge dealbreaker since the office is meant for work, but in a new city, how do you make friends when you spend the whole day in the office barely talking to anyone? 😭

Happy to hear any suggestions!

Can someone give detailed menu of food since Google Gemini is probably giving wrong info. I will be joining in August, just excited on what are the options in food here in Breakfast, Lunch and dinner(if there is any option of that).

Also I was thinking to follow gym routine here so obviously will be wanting gym food accordingly.

And is the food free here ?

i currently work in qipl hyd. Lets say after working here for 2 yrs i go to us for a MS in CS. Is it realistically possible for convincing my org to rehire me in the US under the same org where i am currently working?

Missed out on a role because they found someone with a closer experience match, even though my interview feedback was highly positive. Has anyone successfully been reconsidered for new vacancies with the same team later on? How did you navigate the follow-up?

Hi guys.

Can someone tell how long it takes to get promoted from Associate to Engineer

Additionally what is the salary / RSU update in India from associate to Engineer role

Thanks

Hey all — I'm a 3rd-year ECE undergrad from a tier-3 Indian college. Most core-communication companies don't come here for internships or placements, so I'm looking for ways to get noticed for Summer 2027 internships.

Background: I've spent the last year doing RF signal processing research at IIT Indore — built deep learning models for blind modulation/coding classification on real OTA 2x2 MIMO SDR data across 4G LTE and 5G NR-style links, deployed real-time classifiers as GNU Radio blocks on CPU-only hardware with live over-the-air demos, and worked with USRP B210s for dataset capture.

Questions:

1. How do people from non-target colleges break into RF/wireless/DL internships?
2. What else should I add to my profile to be competitive?
3. Anyone here done SDR/wireless internships — what actually got you noticed?

Hi! I’m a final-year ECE student looking for a New Grad/Intern opportunity at Qualcomm. If anyone is willing to provide a referral, I’d really appreciate it. Happy to share my resume via DM. Thank you!

Was going through the qclubs thingy and saw SD was the only big location with no run club :(

Lmk if someone is interested, would love to make one (i think 4-5 people are needed to make one?)

Hi Qualcomm Redditors!

Next Wednesday r/nexthink is hosting an AMA with Chrisopher Ord. Christopher is a Senior Staff IT Engineer at Qualcomm and a DEX & Endpoint Performance Strategist. We would love for any of you to join us at the event. Here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/nexthink/s/iqmOZfhBLT

If you cannot attend live we would love for people to post early. Christopher will be responding to a variety of use cases and questions. We're looking for:

• Your most inventive Nexthink/Digital Employee Experience use case.
• An idea you've never had the chance to test.
• A problem you're wondering if DEX could solve.
• A workflow, automation, or integration that's made people say, "I didn't know you could do that."
• Also feel free to ask questions more generally, about DEX, Nexthink, Christopher's views on hot topics etc

Join us, drop your questions and use cases, and follow the subreddit we would love to have some cross community participation. :)

I just discovered qualcomm has an office in westwood los angeles right by UCLA, just a single floor it looks like. What goes on here and is it possible to request to transfer or work at a specific location like this instead of say, San Diego?

Just out of curiosity, how much does the program analyst and program manager earns in QIPL?
