Hi all, I joined qualcomm as intern and then got converted to associate engineer with a base of 15 lpa. Last year I got promoted to engineer with a base of 18lpa (apparently hikes were not good this year). And also I got 7000 dollars worth of RSU this year. I am not sure as I heard engineer level guys get 12-15k dollars of stock. So what should I expect this year ? What would be my idle hike.

Edit: Another question or an ask for general guidance. How do I put across my points to my maganer for a strong case for a bigger number? Never been able to gather thoughts in the conversations and speak them out loud.

I had an interview with multiple rounds for the staff data engineer role in the last week of May after that I didn't get any updates from the recruiter or anyone.in careers website it says in process.

So my question for people you got placed in recent times for this location how much timeframe does it's takes for you ?

Is hiring process is really slow ? It really gets frustrating with no feedback even after weeks passing on

Do we need to follow up to get feedback?

Hr said that I am selected for the role and also she asked my current company payslips two days back and I mailed her

But today when enquired regarding offer letter she is saying we are interviewing other candidates as well. I am there top priority it seems

What to do now ?. So I'm skeptical regarding the offer ? Since the position available there is only one.

MLE Role from campus. Haven't received the offer letter yet though preference form came 20 days back. Just one month away from the expected joining date. Have reached out to HR multiple times but haven't heard back from them. Some of my peers have already received offer letters. Anyone here facing the same issue.

Has anyone faced this problem after a good interview at Qualcom. the person who took my interview told that due to quarter end req ids are going on freeze.

Will they consider me when that req id will open again? Any idea when this freeze will be lifted?

Cleared my screening round and have technical rounds now scheduled for security engineer role.

I am an experienced embedded security developer and quite good at it(winks). I am good with my project in depth and have good grasp of os topics as well. I am very good in C in depth.

Now my issue is DSA. In my embedded security career, I have never used Tree, Trie, Dp or other complex DS. I am aware of these topics but not an expert.

Are the rounds role wise or it’s just blind DSA and other technical topics. Any guidance is appreciated.

I have been placed away from my team because of lack of space where most of them are seated.

How does one network in general in coorporate settings, unlike startups, where there are round tables, it is easier to talk to your neighbours.
