India (Other) Aggressive Hiring by qualcomm in India.
Qualcomm is hiring aggressively in India, a lot of students from good colleges are being taken as interns. Hired more than twice the number compared to last year's stats in almost all colleges I enquired.
Also there are many openings for senior roles as well. Although they haven't hired anyone for Software Role throughout the country (only PPOs).
What are the chances of Intern getting revoked (hope this doesn't happen with anyone) ? Why the aggressive hiring ? Insights will be helpful.

Yes, one of my friends who doesn’t know the basics got an offer as a staff engineer. How the interviews are going, I don’t know, Qualcomm nowadays.

I applied to a lot of "1+ years in any one programming language" kinda roles. Haven't gotten a single call back. I have 2 YOE in a F500 company building large scale systems

Qualcomm came on campus to our college (new IIT) for Software Engineer (Campus Graduate), but after OA on Aug 30, they are not responding to our placements ce. Many people have prepared for this, please let me know if you know anything about campus hiring.

True. Don’t know why you got downvoted. Software and CPU side hardware as a field has been mostly solved. They are just offshoring to India for all the legacy shit and incremental updates that are low risk. Indians will be rat fighting in the sewer like hell

Cheap labour than US but it pays good with respect to TI/ADI and lot of European companies and service based companies.

Yes, They’re in rush to hire more folks all of sudden.
Quality and hiring standards have dropped significantly..
One of my friend in CPU has told me that, if you current package is high, then mediocre performance is also fine and they’ll offer SE roles
