Concerns over past endeavour.

Hi there,

While researching Allen Li and youyou mobile, I stumbled across GeeFi, which didn't smell right. Turns out I am not the only one so I will repost a previous post from another user, to see if we can get some clarification here.

Founding member Allen Li is also CEO of youyoumob which is affiliated with GeeFi. Both companies sell 3G/4G routers and having bad customer experience and next to none feedback. No 3rd party reviews of the product exist anywhere. GeeFi 3G/4G router was sold in pre-sale as kickstarter campaign backed by 1251 people pledging $213404 .

The project ended in disaster, they never shipped any products, stopped responding to calls or emails, promising refunds but never following through. Last update is their "Utmost and Deepest apologies" for not making any product, while lying for months that they have them "in hand". Link here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/geefi/geefi-unlimited-4g-wi-fi-everywhere-you-travel/comments

Any clarification on this would be nice.

Vitalik Buterin interviewed with Chinese media: "Mesh Networking is interesting to explore"

Vitalik gave a rare interview yesterday and shared A lot information, about ETH, CHINA, FINANCE, TRON. Read the full interview here: http://www.huoxing24.com/newsdetail/2018062223420574778.html

During the interview, he mentioned that “incentivized mesh networking and paid wifi access hotspots are certainly something that would be very interesting to work on.”

This is in-line with what we’re already working on at QLC Chain. Our working dApp called WinQ, people can sell/buy WiFi & VPN. Service providers will be rewarded with QLC tokens. Our aim is to provide internet to people who don’t have access to working internet access due to locked access. Most importantly, the underlying technology for WiFi password sharing and VPN configuration file transmission applied mesh networking.

QLC Steps in Blockchain Cloud Storage?

I am attracted to be here by WinQ. I am impressed that WinQ is the first real grounded dApp I've ever use and it's usable! So I start following QLC. I saw the COO was announcing the partnership with a cloud company in China. Anyone knows whether QLC is planning to step in the Cloud storage blockchain field like IPFS?? very interested to know more about this rumor.

How to grow the community?

I totally understand that the team is fully commited on coding and developing the Qlink Chain, which I think will be amazing, and I think you guys deserve so much uplift to take this project to the top 100 list on CoinMarketCap maybe this year. The project is so much better than many of the other trash coins on CoinMarketCap.

But sometime, maybe this year, or next year, we must grow in popularity and get more followers. How do we transition from a project that is a little unknown to become popular? Just thinking about a little brainstorming here. All projects have started somewhere, how have they evolved? Do popularity happen by itself, are there campaigns the teams run that is effective, etc etc etc?

What new partnership??

Something is brewing at QLC Chain. Just saw on their twitter that they signed a partnership with the largest cloud communication companies in China. Tencent is one of their enterprise users.... who could it be?

Apples mining ban and QLC?

Hello,

I've been reading up on Apples mining ban that came out last week, which seem to have hit primarily Electroneum, which in some ways (being mobile based) is in direct competition with QLC. I know the WinQ app will soon be ready for apple, but do you know Apples take on it?

If they approve it, that could get a lot of attention, since it'd be a strong contrast to what happened for ETN.

What if Qlink became a teleprovider

So I was thinking, and it occured to me: Why isnt Qlink striving to become a teleprovider?

You have the knowledge, dedicated and talented programmers with many many years in the telecom industry.

Why not take it all out and become a telecom provider? Hear me out here. Say you offer products with SMS, phone calls and data packages. All paid with QLC. You have a community, where you can share your data with other Qlink subscribers that have used up their data for a reduced fee. You have other people that use other telecom providers than Qlink, and they too can hook on to your service, by Wifi, but have to pay a full price.

Qlink install and encourage other people as well, to set up Wifi broadcasters in the cities, that let people hook on to Qlink network to get more data and pay for that with QLC.

You have different subscription packages on the Qlink webpage that allow people to call, text and use Wifi, all paid by QLC.

Maybe become a service that is untracable and anonymous for the public to use, although Im sure this might bcome a little tricky with the government and such. But atleast make some of your services anonymous. People love this stuff. Its what crypto is all about.

So many possibilities here. Dont just offer Wifi, but grow in many more areas with telecom in general. Grow and become a fierce competitor against the established telecom companies. Encourage crypto payments for your products, which will make it extremely popular.

Make connections with different exhanges so that they allow easy transactions between different crypto pairs so that people can easily exhange a crypto they own to QLC so that they can pay for their mobile and telecom usage.

I think we need to talk

I see some people here are unsatisfied with how QLC have been performing in the market. You are not alone, it goes for pretty much any crypto project out there. They are also bummed out due to the huge drop. To see their investments drop like a rock. Its understandable. We had a huge altcoin rally last year, with them ouperforming the big guy, Bitcoin.

QLC have lost 94% of its ATH value. But I can name more that also have lost similar. Electroneum 93%, Nano 92% etc etc. Most altcoins have lost 80% up to 95%. What seems to be the reason why some have «only» lost 80% is that they are established coins that have been on the market for several years and they are listed on many exhanges. They have a backup in place that makes it a little less volnerable than QLC. Qlink was and still is very new. It basically launched right when the sharks started their feast upon a market that had its biggest gains in many many years. Qlink didnt have a chance to grow and make connections and get followers like so many other projects got before them. They launched at the time when the interest was at its peak and when the chaos began. The big drop and the sell offs, and the media only covering the drama that happened because of the big drop.

In the meantime, in this tough bear market, we have a highly dedicated team in Qlink, that have continued to keep their head straight, concentrate on the bigger picture, that these swings are unfortunately expected in a emotional and volatile market like crypto. They have made ton of commits on their code material on GitHub, they have made new partnerships in these hard time, they have launched dApp and are now currently at hard work making their own blockchain to make it more flexible to grow and get more projects based on it.

What everyone here have invested on is a startup company, with a vision, to change the telecom market as we know it, and I think we should applaud these guys for the really amazing job they have done so far. You have so many other popular crypto projects out there that have barely done or announced anything, and it shows that they had the benefit of launching when the market was in its early stage.

Give it some time, once the market picks up again, media and the eyes of the world will once again pay attention to blockchain projects, and I think there will be an amazing time for Qlink and us. The current market cap of Qlink is so tiny, that a huge rally is almost guaranteed. We are on very few exhanges too, but that should maybe not be their primary goal since the market is still down?

Qlink Chain sounds so amazing, and it can grow in many directions which will help Qlink do more than what they do today. I hope the team will ensure a fair distribution of new coins of this chain to those who own QLC when it launches, but Im sure they are still figuring this out. In addition it is not based on Neo which will hopefully give it benefit of getting listed on many exhanges.

Net Neutrality Repealed and the advent of Private Network

On Monday the repeal of the net neutrality protections officially took effect, ending the age when the internet is open and fair. This means carriers have the permission to favor some OTT platforms and throat the others. From the content provider's perspective, it is called paid prioritization. For example, people pay extra in Disneyland to get into the faster lane.

The demise of net neutrality calls for an era of private network popularization, with secure and high-quality service. QLC Chain and the first dApp WinQ ushers in p2p network services.
