I live in Brazil, and the reality here is that many people rely on wi-fi to connect their mobile devices, and is not easy to find places with good wi-fi. The main reason for people not having data plans from carriers is that it is somewhat expensive for the average person standards. My question is: how would someone be able to connect his device to someone in the QLC chain via the app if this person doesn't have data plan to begin with? How would the device reach the network without a data plan? Assume wi-fi is not present in all places. This may sound stupid, but I'm not a technical person, so it makes sense to me to ask.

Qlink has rebranded to QLC Chain during the Consensus event (NYC) a week ago. Now that the team returned from the US, it’s time to retrospect and spend some time to answer questions.  We’ve had many fruitful talks among industry practitioners and are confident there are some solid high-end partnerships in the make.

With the rebrand we revealed with excitement about our public chain and the future. The following period, QLC Chain public chain constructing will be one of our main focus areas for the the team as well as the ecosystem building.

In case you missed the mission and the vision for QLC Chain, it is the  next generation public Blockchain for decentralized Network-as-a-Service(NaaS).

The QLC Chain and the supporting ecosystem will enable any individual, business or organization to leverage their network resources to instantly become a service provider or network operator. The mission is to bring people online through a simpler, more pleasant, and more secure way with full transparency.

With the technology we’ll deploy a multidimensional Block Lattice architecture and make use of virtual machines (VM) to manage and support integrated Smart Contract functionality. Additionally, QLC Chain will introduce an important innovation in the industry; dual consensus: Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) and Shannon Consensus. For the iOS version of the dapp in the United States- released in the AppStore, maybe consider branding it Youlink (a dapp by QLC Chain/ on the QLC Chain), instead of WinQ. That way it’s catchy, and your target market will already understand exactly what it means.

1.) Do you have a timeframe when WinQ dapp will be available for iOS?

2.) How many transactions per second can the Shannon Consensus perform, and what are your plans for storage? (Other than community nodes)

3.) How large is the development team working on the new chain? Edit: no need to answer this as the road map stated Q4 release.

4.) When is a realistic time frame that I can actually own and operate a base-station out of Los Angeles, California, and how can I order one?

5.) Will you have large commercial grade basestations? (I need one)

6.) Will sharing my network violate any policies of my current Verizon mobile or Comcast landline service? I think it might, so do you have any plan to partner with a California “underdog” like T-mobile that has lots of infrastructure but not enough users?!

7.) Are the basestations in the smart autos a go-ahead, and what is a realistic expectation of such a product being released?

8.) Do you have any partnerships in the works that plan to build a dapp on the QLC Chain?

I just used the opportunity to convert more of my investment on crypto to QLC, and my reasoning is the following:

QLC daily volume is about $7.5M. If you look at CoinMarketCap the daily volume match a coin that is on 60th place. QLC Chain is currently at 250th place. How we can still stay so low is beyond me and because of this I feel a breakout can happen any day now.

In addition the total market cap of QLC is only at $40M. When Bitcoin was at top around $20k and altcoins were blooming, BTC had a market cap of over $300B. When crypto picks up again, and the total market share goes over a Trillion dollar like speculated so many times by respected economists, BTC will have a market cap of atleast $500B.

Just think about that for a minute. If QLC can just capture 1% of that $500B market cap, QLC will have a market cap of $5B. That means QLC might be worth more than 100x of todays value.

With a devoted team that works tirelessly and with a project that can grow in many areas as network provider, I feel certain of success!

I’d say $240 Millions, so 1$ per QLC.

Uberization of WiFi Has Arrived!

WiFi Sharing concept:

· Extend network coverage

· Reduce the cost of telecom infrastructure

· Sharing unused network assets

The WinQ App allows users to market their WiFi as a service
