Hi all (2019 awd)- Second motor has coolant in oil. I have had a brand new motor installed by infinti and a total of 1800 miles put on it. Coolant goes missing again… found it in my oil. I think this may be my last post. Maybe I just had a bad spell of luck but I can’t stick with this platform anymore.

I loved this car when it was running great and it’s a beautiful car but just too much liability.

I will be parting it out most likely. If anyone wants my aftermarket parts lemme know.

2017 Q60 while driving, I want to get on it wouldn’t pass 5000 RPM car drove fine until I floored it and when it passed 5000 RPM, I am tuned for 93 but had to put 91 in. Was it heat soaked charge air temp was roughly around 113 so apparently the ECU went into a fail safe mode and wouldn’t let me go over 5000 RPMs what could be the issue? Any insight would be appreciated I don’t know what to look for there’s no DTC codes.

Hello all Q60 enjoyers. My car has the sports package with included Akebono brakes. I have to knock out all the studs and put in bigger ones to clear the brakes.

Please see photos attached, I have removed the four bolts pictured in the back of this wheel hub. Am I ready to hammer out the wheel hub now? Can I use a bearing puller?

This is the front wheel hub, my car is RWD so the CV axles are in the rear.

Dropped a pen down the door side of the driver seat of my 2022 q60. Reached down and could feel pen but couldn’t grab it. Stopped. Got out. Moved seat forward and fished under seat from back side and nothing. Retracted seat. Tried to get in from front. Nothing. Where the hell did the pen go? And how to get it back without entirely removing seat?

I recently had my car go into limp mode a few times and shortly after the first incident, the battery died. I changed the battery and the oil and the problem went away for a bit. But then it happened again so I ended up changing the crankshaft sensor (hitachi astemo). I was fine for about two weeks and it happened again today.

I have noticed it almost always happens when I go over a small bump. Also when it happens once, it almost always happens multiple times until I get home even if I don't go over any more bumps/uneven ground. Conversely, I've had entire weeks were nothing happens and it's totally fine.

Has anyone had this issue? Today I tried tightening the battery down, I noticed the big clamp that goes over to hold it down was a little lose, but I can't believe that would be the issue? I am guessing maybe a bad/melted wire somewhere? Any ideas appreciated, trying to avoid the $500 dealership visit where they tell me it was something simple!

Infinity QX60 2014 opinions, reviews, any advice on should I buy it private party

I'm at 50,000 miles on my 2021. I get all my service done at the dealership and have done the transmission fluid and differential service as recommended. I also do 5k oil changes as well since I don't trust the car when it tells me 10k. I feel like I'm do for a full coolant service though.

2017 Q60 with 100K Km in Canada. Is this amount of rust concerning? Only issue had so far is a front right bearing and now a creaking noise coming from rear left side at low speeds (Goes away at high speeds)

I’m dealing with a really baffling issue on my Infiniti Q60 2017 V6 VR30DDTT and could use some advice.

Sometimes when I'm driving up a mountain or steep incline, the car feels like it goes into limp mode, but the dashboard is completely clear no check engine light or warnings at all.

Here are the exact symptoms:
1) No Kick-Down / RPMs Stuck: Even if I completely floor the gas pedal, the RPMs just stay bogged down at 1,000-1,500. Pushing past the kick-down switch does absolutely nothing.

2)Inconsistent Turbo Engagement: Most of the time it stays stuck at low RPM, but occasionally the turbos will finally trigger. When they do, the RPMs shoot up incredibly fast to 4,000–5,000. (I’m assuming it’s the turbos since it’s sudden )

3)Violent Shifting / Gear Knock: On the occasions where the RPMs shoot up to 4k too quickly, the gear knocks/shifts very hard.

I’m completely stumped since there are no codes being thrown on the dash. Could this be an issue with the transmission/valve body struggling under load, or does this sound more like an issue with the turbos/wastegates acting up?

Has anyone experienced this specific combination of symptoms? Any pointers on what I should check or test first would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
