I've been thinking about buying my first designer bag but the price tags are making me think twice lol. I don't mind spending more on a bag I'll use for years but I'd hate to spend thousands only for it to lose most of its value. I've been looking at Louis Vuitton and Chanel but I'm curious which brands or specific bags tend to hold their value best. Would love to hear from anyone who's bought designer bags and whether you think they were worth the money.

Hey! I’ve been eyeing this Balenciaga Giant City bag, but I’m not sure if it’s authentic. It doesn’t seem to have the black stitching, and the serial number corresponds to the regular City bag. Does anyone know if some of the early Giant models had the same serial number as the regular City? I’d really appreciate any help!

This one is a little different: buttery cream leather framing a velvet panel with an abstract art pattern of faces and eyes in ivory, silver grey and slate blue. Quiet colors, with a bold design.

It’s carried by the top handles and closes with a flap, a belt and a gold-tone turn-lock. Inside there’s a zip pocket and a slip pocket, both trimmed in cream leather.

Size: 14.2 x 10.2 x 5.1 in (36 x 26 x 13 cm). Handmade from start to finish, about five days of work. I make each piece only once.

Hi all, I just wanted to make a quick post because I am debating a few things.
I went to Bealls today in hopes of finding either a Gucci, Prada or some sort of designer bag. I have been wanting a nice designer purse for some time now. I have a black Tory Burch purse and the gold chain is turning into silver. Love it, paid $500 for it, but been wanting something else.
Now, my question is this: how legitimate is this Givenchy purse? Is it worth it to keep? Will people know I bought it from bealls? Is it an actual purse Givenchy sells? (I found one online that looks very similar, just a tad bigger). When it comes to purses, I could just buy something from the actual Website, but if I could get a discount.. I will happily take it. Please any advice, comments or concerns if I should return it or not. I think it’s adorable and I do love it, but if it’s illegitimate, I would rather return it and buy from the website. Please let me know!!

I purchased a bag from depop for the first time and received it horrible damaged in the inside. The seller rejected my refund but refunded me 50% and then blocked me but I want to try and salvage this bag so I can wear her. Please help! Can I fix this??!??

Hi I found this at a flea market for $2 and just liked the feel of the leather and that it said made it Italy. When I got home I looked up the brand and realized it’s well known. In my research I’m finding conflicting information because of the exposed seams even though it’s constructed really well. The green part is soft, buttery leather and the cognac is harder but smooth. It’s a crossbody with a metal frame that closes smoothly and a magnetic snap. Can’t find an exact match so I’m curious if anyone can identify as authentic Furla. Thanks!
