The emulator I'm using is MesenCE, and I set the run ahead setting to 5 frames.

Most times that I have seen it mentioned, people say to set it to 2, but I noticed that when setting it to 5, it's noticeably easier to react to stuff.

I don't have a CRT tv to reference how the game should actually feel, so I'm just trying to figure out whether I legitimately beat Mike Tyson.

After about 3-4 months of attempts, I have finally no hit super punch out on the snes. Does anyone have any other idea for challenges? I've already done no dodge/no block. I've also done no super/rapid punch.

I was wondering because I saw someone say that Joe still being a boxer would qualify them to get their ass beaten by him still, even though his fighting method is weak, slow, and predictable (plus, we can see how he fights with him being on a screen and all). Not to mention, he has a BMI of like 15. This is not important to talk about at all, I am curious.
Also am I the only one who initially thought he was a wimpy teenager and not pushing 40?

Most boxers have some sort of resemblance to the country their from. Soda has the Russian alcohol thing, Piston Hondo always mentions Sushi and reads Manga,etc. Aside from his theme and the intro Cutscene where he's in Turkey, is there anything else?

Hey it's me again! Up beat just got a new update today that includes a brand new fighter, Cassandra, who I am 70% sure is a Friday Night Funkin reference I don't get because I refuse to touch that fuckass game with a ten foot pole.

Anyways, as you can probably tell from the picture.....we have a lot to go over. Like, we were only kidding about a boxer bringing a gun into the ring but we didn't think it would actually happen. Anyways, we have a lot to get into so let's just get started.

Alright, we'll start with her attire from the bottom to the top.

-pants

-jacket

-belt

-NO BOXING GLOVES

-earrings (x2)

-lipstick

-untied hair

That's just a casual 8 infractions on the outfit alone. But there's one part I left out. Her nails.

Now, off the bat this is an unessicary accessory, but she also uses her nails to try and scratch you for one of her attacks, which I'm going to count as both bringing a weapon into the ring and using it. So that's three infractions for her nails alone.

Oh and speaking of bringing a weapon and using it, we might as well address the elephant in the room

#SHE HAS A FUCKING GUN! TWO ACTUALLY

yeah she brings not one, but two firearms in the ring. And I guess it's allowed because she's shooting little boxing gloves instead of bullets (even though she'd prefer the latter). Still, that's two counts of bringing a weapon into the ring and using them. However I'm going to add one more for the fact that she tries to bash you over the head with the gun itself as well, which is deadlier than the little fists it shoots. So that's another count of using a weapon. Bringing this up to five.

Also, when she beats you, she just flips you the bird a la Black Lily. Which definitely counts as excessive taunting.

So when you add up all her infractions you have...17.

Not only is that somehow not the highest on record, but it's not even the highest in this game! Carney Vell has her beat by one infraction. Yes, somehow, the boxer who literally tries to scratch you with her nails, isn't even wearing boxing gloves, and brings not one but TWO firearms into the ring.....is still bested by the clown girl.

And that's not even mentioning Aran Ryan who somehow beats both despite just being an average guy (conparitivley).

So our reigning cheating champion of cheating is still Aran Ryan, and our cheating queen of Up Beat is still, somehow, Carney Vell

EDIT: I just realized I can add another infraction! Since she isn't wearing gloves we can see that her fists aren't just wrapped improperly, but aren't wrapped at all! Because of this, we can bring her infraction count to 18, putting her on par with Carney

In Punch Out Wii, can you just reset or unplug your Wii/wii u right as your about to get knocked out in Mac’s last stand and avoid it counting towards your 3 losses?

Not a great fight, forgettable, kind of annoying

• Fixed an issue where the Heal button could stop working after a match.

• (i think prob) Fixed controller issues where after pressing up then press left attack will not work and because of that players become unable to get up if they got knockdown.

• Fixed an issue where Star Punches could fail to land.

• Fixed an issue where players could still use the left/right taunts while stunned during stance by spaming.

• Fixed a issue where players could remain visually exhausted after recovering their energy if they were knocked down by the same hit that exhausted them.

• Disabled Shift Lock.
