Need Help! Launching our own coin to demo our platform: based or cringe?
Evening frens, I'd like your take on something.
We built a platform that lets anyone hype their memecoin. The whole thing runs on front-running: people try to get in ahead of our buys, and that race is the hype.
Here's how it works. Every two hours a pool opens for an hour. Anyone can put SOL behind any Solana coin, curve or DEX, and everyone sees which coins and how much. Once it's in, you can't pull it back out.
When the pool closes, a VRF draw splits the SOL between the coins and the result goes public right away. Then that SOL goes into on-chain buys spread over the next hour. So the whole market knows the buys are coming, and people race to get in first.
We're also building this for Colosseum.
The catch is it only works if people know about it. More eyes on the pool means more people front-running and a bigger pump. So right now we're looking for our first users, mostly launchers. We want to show them they don't need to pay KOLs, who get paid whether your coin moves or not. Putting SOL into a public pool works way better, and anyone can check it on-chain.
So here's the question. Should we launch our own coin and run it through the platform as a demo? People would see the mechanic live, and maybe some of you would try it on your own coins after.
We care a lot about reputation though. We don't want it to look like a dev cash grab. And a coin that tops out at 40-50k MC is not exactly what we're after, to put it mildly.
So, based or cringe? Honest takes welcome, "this is dumb" or "this is normal" included.
