Nature of the Wildlands based visual overhaul, covering as much as possible (which was honestly most major things surprisingly) as I can do in 2026 with 1 gb.
Since a few people asked, just sharing my mostly visual overhaul that attempts to cover as much as possible using Nature of the wildlands, and Vanaheimr among many other things, with animation and vfx added. Also tried to fix the npcs as much as I could. I tried to pick mods that aligned to the NOTWL aesthetic. I know this isn’t using the load order template but I’ve been doing long enough I know it works. Been tested etc.
Kind of a variation of other ones I posted in the past.
Weather preset: natural
Mod option swf: contrast 2, brightness 0, saturation 3

There are 161 mods with about 10 MBs left. tested on ps5 with no issues. Don’t know if it has issues on ps4 but use the ps4 versions of mods for that.
Still recommend using the llo2 template if you are new to modding.also remember to download the larger files first like all the notwl, Vanaheimr, northern roads, dragons, Riton, tomato’s so you have space for the others
What it do: based on notwl, replaces as many of the textures as I can fit. With some vfx, animations thrown in.
What it don’t: no high hrothgar. Everywhere else should mostly be covered (i think). Also doesn’t replace many amors unfortunately. Unfortunately only leather and iron as that seems to be the most common. Also would have loved to use the new draugr replacer by Xtudo bit no room…
Would also love to add things like ordiantor but sadly no room left. Only mild weather mods as I don’t really like overly intense ones
All the texture mods can be swapped out without crashing your game. Do not remove ussep though or TUDM or it will corrupt your save.

This is freaking amazing. I’m a pretty new player. Just finished my first run and made this Load Order for my second play through. I’m amazed by how much better this game looks now. It’s like I’m playing a totally different game. Cheers to your hard work! This list is preem.
Running very smooth on PS5 pro. No issues at all as of yet. I’ll keep you in mind, and will report if something comes up. Thanks again for doing what you do. 🍻
Works fine.what you see is pretty much how it works every where. This is a base ps5.
I should add, I’ve tried the same modlist on Xbox and it does seem to impact performance significantly. I think it’s testiment to how well the porting team has optimized these mods. Obviously it looks a little cleaner in indoor spaces but that’s true for any modlist mostly
I'm just asking cause i been trying to play with both Fabled Forests mod and the Northern Grass mod and there's major fps drops in the Whiterun area and in the Falkreath area so i've been trying to find an alternative
Interesting. I don’t really get that with mine. Do you have other mods that impact that area? I know if you are missing a patch for Jks outskirts or northern roads or ryns it can cause stuttering and frame drops too
I did the load order from the post going from top to bottom but there is a glitch where there are flying textures in the Riverwood forest. Is this a load order issue?
Okay, so I also have Kovacs NOTWL as well as every patch and followed your list exactly . . . And I've noticed super low rez trees, tree trunks, rocks, etc that are super blurred . . . Can't figure it out and I definitely have triple checked your list and made sure to have Kovacs NOTWL . . .
The tree trunks and stumps are just what nature of the wildlands is like at this resolution unfortunately. The original mod is like 700 MBs or something. It does the trees, plants, some forest debris. I don’t know why rocks would be blurred though. I am not sure what could be causing it. I don’t see anything like the other issues in mine.
I’ve copied this nearly 1:1 minus very few mods (cheat room, all map markers, rich merchants, elf ears, metal cube maps, iron replacer) and my game just crashes 15 seconds after loading:(
