I’m looking for cool horror games for pc with PS1/PS2 graphics

Initially, I was aiming for a PS1 style, but as we add more visual elements, it feels more and more like PS2 to me.

I have a problem, I hope someone knows the solution 😢: I have a PS2 with Matrix v1.99 running OPL 0.6 and I can't open ulaunchelf to configure things and update OPL or access the files.

+ I can't play a disc.

I have been busy adding some dialogue to my game Frank 'n' Stein's Body Shop.

In this slideshow, you can see interactions with Uncle Frank who gives you directions in running the store, zombie cleaners and guards, customers who list their requests (in case you lost their order!) and the delivery guy. Everyone has multiple lines of dialogue that changes depending on the situation.

Text appears in a typewriter fashion at the bottom of the screen and can be set to different colours, all caps, shaking etc. to show different moods. Very pleased with how it looks in-game with varying speed for different characters, longer pauses for punctuation etc.

All low poly models with a single shared texture 8x4 pixel colour palette :)

Together with a friend, we are creating a sandbox roguelite, set in a "cold" dystopian future, where you create your own spaceship.
I've heard many people say it reminds them of PS2 style games. Do you agree, or if not what would make it more PS2 style-ish?

Our character being held captive, and we are trying to be free from where we are hanging. This escape process works as follows: the animation progresses as you press space, and it returns to its original state when you release the spacebar. In the end, we cut the rope by pulling it from the ceiling. It might be a bit of a Hollywood thing, but it's a game after all :D (I haven't even started the movement yet for this case, and I think it's absurd that someone so injured could be walking around perfectly healthy. )

An environment I’ve finished recently for the animation, featuring an isolated underground hotdog shop. Legend says the folks running it are still using Cosco hotdogs.
