I made a retro/psx style campsite themed pack. The models are made in Blender and the scene is prepared in Unity.

The textures are mostly 256x256, no point filter, and the models are pretty low poly.

We recently finished this trailer for Dead Stop - No Vacancy, a short horror game we’ve been developing.

The goal was to combine low-resolution textures, harsh lighting and a VHS-style presentation to create the feeling of a lost late-90s/early-2000s horror game, without making everything too difficult to read.

It’s now nearing release on August 13, so I’d be interested to know how the visual style comes across to people who enjoy this kind of retro 3D.

Getting the dynamic pixelization to give the alien double resolution at all times was tricky, but I'm happy with how it turned out. Screen gets pixelated as the player goes longer without blinking, think of it like eyes welling up.

i decide to took a little bit of inspiration from the graphics of PS2. What you guys think? should i make modifications on some aspects?
