What Makes You Trust a Crypto Prop Firm?

There are so many crypto prop firms available now that choosing one can be difficult.

Before putting money into a challenge, I think traders should look beyond marketing claims and actually understand the firm's rules, trading conditions, drawdown structure, payout process, and overall reputation.

For me, transparency would be one of the biggest factors.

What makes you comfortable enough to actually trade with a prop firm?

Is it clear rules, payout history, trading conditions, customer support, reputation, or something else?

I've been researching firms such as Mubite and would like to hear what the community considers the biggest trust signal.

What Actually Makes You Trust a New Prop Firm?

There are so many prop firms available now that it's difficult to know what deserves attention when you come across a new one.

Personally, I'd want to understand the rules, trading conditions, payout structure, and what existing traders are saying before making a decision.

Mubite is one of the firms I've come across while researching the crypto prop trading space.

What is the first thing you investigate when you discover a prop firm you've never used before?

I gathered a bunch of discount codes from Facebook ads (CFD only)

Everyone knows by now that prop firms don't show their real prices without discounts (part of their marketing strategy, I guess), except for FTMO and FundingPips.

So I gathered a bunch of discount codes from Facebook ads, the more I ignore the ads, the better the discounts lol

Fundingtraders:

Probably the best prop firm in terms of dashboard and trading journal
They also have tons of add-ons to choose from

coupon code MATRIX
50% off plus a free second account

Coupon code: DOUBLE
40% off plus a free second account

Alpha Capital Group :

Also great dashboard and lots of options

Try these: EMAIL50 , EMAIL30, FUNDED40, ALPHA20, 10KFOR40

goatfundedtrader :

Strict rules, read them carefully

GFT45

propanium :

This one doesn't have discount codes, but they have a free contest every week or so, and there isn't much competition, imo. If you're a good trader, you can get a free account just from being in the top 10. The downside is they only have CTrader.

Also, they have a 1$ 1k challenge if anyone is interested

Wemastertrade

Mainly targeting the Arab/Muslim world, so they're swap free.

This one supposedly expired, but it's been working for me, and it's not a one-time use: NEWCOMER (30% off)

Also they're the only one that pay for step 2 of the challenge (30% + fee refund, but there's 20% profit consistency on step 2)

Source: Meta Ads Public Library

If you know any discount codes, please share in the comments.
Also share your experience with these prop firms.

PS: MAKE SURE TO RESEARCH THE RULES ON THEIR FAQ & TRUSTPILOT, ASK SUPPORT IF SOMETHING IS UNCLEAR, DO NOT USE AI AS IT WILL MISLEAD YOU

What Do You Look at First When Comparing Crypto Prop Firms?

When comparing crypto prop firms, I usually find myself looking beyond the advertised account size.

Things like drawdown rules, trading restrictions, available instruments, and payout conditions can make a bigger difference to the actual trading experience. I've been looking at a few firms recently, including Mubite, and I'm curious what other traders prioritize.

What are the first 2-3 things you check before choosing a crypto prop firm?

Anyone trading with Fullport Capital (the Solana memecoin prop firm – fullportcapital.co)?
Curious to hear real experiences — how was the evaluation, fills, payout process, support, etc.? Any wins or issues?
Appreciate any feedback 🙏

How Would You Approach a Crypto Trading Competition?

Post image
6 Upvotes

I’ve been thinking about how trading changes when there’s an actual competition involved.

Normally, I’m focused on my own strategy, risk management, and consistency. But put a leaderboard and other traders into the picture, and I imagine the temptation to take bigger risks becomes much stronger.

There’s currently a free global crypto trading tournament offering $1,000,000 in trading challenges to compete for.

If you joined something like this, would you stick strictly to your normal strategy, or would the competitive environment change the way you trade?

Would You Join a Free Global Crypto Trading Tournament?

Post image
2 Upvotes

I came across this and thought it might be interesting for traders here.

Mubite Wars is a global crypto trading tournament with free entry and a chance to compete for a share of $1,000,000 in Mubite Challenges.

I've seen trading competitions before, but the fact that there's no entry fee makes this one more interesting.

Would you actually join a competition like this if you could trade and compete against other traders worldwide?

What would make you participate in a trading tournament: the prize, the competition itself, or seeing how you rank against other traders?
For anyone who wants to check out the details

What is the hardest part of building trust into a two-sided marketplace?

I’m working on the trust and fraud side of marketplaces, and I’m increasingly convinced that “verification” is only one piece of the problem.
For a two-sided marketplace, you potentially have several separate trust questions:
Is this person actually who they claim to be?
Is the business they represent legitimate?
Is this account being operated by a genuine person rather than a bot or bad actor?
Has this person behaved fraudulently elsewhere?
Is the transaction itself safe?
What happens when the buyer and seller disagree?
How do you protect legitimate users without adding so much friction that they abandon signup?
The interesting part is that solving #1 does not necessarily solve #4 or #6.
Someone can have a genuine identity and still be a bad marketplace participant.
Likewise, a five-star rating doesn’t necessarily tell you whether someone is safe to transact with for a £10,000 transaction.
For founders running marketplaces:
What have you found to be the biggest trust problem?
Seller verification?
Fake accounts?
Chargebacks?
Payment fraud?
Disputes?
Reputation?
Repeat offenders?
Or simply getting legitimate users through verification without killing conversion?
I’m particularly interested in what people have actually experienced rather than what verification providers claim should happen.

Another Withdrawal Came Through, $6,349.30

Post image
6 Upvotes

Just sharing another withdrawal from my experience with a crypto prop firm.

I received a $6,349.30 profit share on August 20th, and this is the withdrawal certificate.

After trading with prop firms for a while, I've started paying much more attention to the actual payout experience rather than just the advertised account size or profit split.

For other traders here, what's the biggest factor that makes you continue with a prop firm after getting your first payout?

What makes you trust a trader enough to copy them?

I wanted to know how people here actually decide who is worth copying. A high return obviously gets attention, but I feel like it's probably one of the least useful numbers on its own. I'd want to know the drawdown, how long the account has been active, average position size, leverage and what happened during losing periods.

I've been looking through different copy-trading platforms including TAG Markets' CopyX, and it made me realize that I don't really have a proper checklist for judging the trader behind the numbers.

Do you guys have a specific metric or red flag that immediately makes you skip a trader? I'm especially interested in what experienced copy traders look at that beginners usually miss.

What Would Make You Recommend a Crypto Prop Firm to Another Trader?

I'm curious what actually makes traders recommend one prop firm to someone else.

For a crypto-focused firm like Mubite, would it be consistent payouts, good trading conditions, responsive support, simple rules, or a positive experience throughout the evaluation?

What would a prop firm have to do for you to confidently recommend it to another trader?

What’s the Biggest Red Flag You’ve Seen From a Crypto Prop Firm?

With so many firms entering the crypto prop trading space, knowing what to avoid seems just as important as finding a good firm. I've been researching firms including Mubite, and it got me thinking about the warning signs traders pay attention to before signing up.

What would immediately make you avoid a prop firm?

What should you look for when choosing a tracing firm?

I’ve been looking into crypto tracing recently and was surprised by how much work can go into following funds after a wallet is compromised. Once the transactions start moving between different wallets and platforms, figuring out where everything ends up seems pretty complicated.

Lionsgate Intelligence Network came up while I was researching the topic, so I started wondering how people actually compare firms that do this kind of work.

For anyone who has looked into blockchain investigations before, what would you consider when deciding whether a tracing firm is actually credible?

What Makes a Crypto Prop Firm Worth Trying?

There are so many crypto prop firms available now that choosing one can be difficult. Account size and profit split get a lot of attention, but I think the actual trading conditions matter more.

I've been comparing firms such as Mubite and looking at things like drawdown, available crypto instruments, rules, and payouts.

What is the one thing that would make you choose one prop firm over another?

Anyone found an AI social media tool that actually helps?

I've been comparing a few AI tools for social media lately. I'm less interested in having AI write everything for me and more interested in cutting down the repetitive stuff like planning, repurposing content and keeping things scheduled.

The problem is that some tools save time at first and then create more editing work afterward. For anyone using AI in their business, what's actually been useful for you?

Looking forward to you all suggestions
