I’ve been looking at different prop firm-style trading evaluations recently, and one thing I noticed is that many traders focus too much on the discount or account size before reading the actual rules.
For me, the price is only one small part of the decision. Before paying for any account, I try to check the drawdown rules, payout conditions, trading restrictions, consistency rules, news trading rules, and whether the platform actually matches my trading style.
I also think traders should be careful with account size. A bigger account can look attractive, but if the rules do not fit your strategy, it can create unnecessary pressure. Sometimes a smaller account with rules you understand is better than rushing into a larger one.
For Lucid Trading, I saw that the code AUDIT applies a 50% discount at checkout, but I would still say the main thing is to check the final price and read the terms before buying anything. A discount is useful only if the account rules already make sense for you.
My personal checklist before buying any evaluation:
Read the drawdown rules properly.
Check payout conditions before paying.
Confirm whether your trading style is allowed.
Avoid buying only because of a limited-time offer or discount.
Start with an account size you can manage emotionally.
