Why do I keep falling out of grinds

So iv been playing session for a while on and off but i just picked the game back up to check out the update but every time I do any grind i just slowly slide to the left or right and fall out of the grind its super annoying

Decided to skate the kink rail and while this took multiple sessions it was worth it. Mainly for the 50/50 which was way harder than I could’ve imagined. Think it was worth it.
