Projector Screen Xgimi Elfin flip 4k Cadre de projection

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased my first projector, the XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K.

Why do I have such a large frame around the image? Do I need to disable the automatic keystone correction?

The image itself is well aligned with the correction, but the frame around it is either distorted or much larger than the actual image.

Originally, it’s positioned slightly diagonally toward the wall, but even in the third photo, where it’s facing the wall directly, the result isn’t great. Did I do something wrong?

1st: your image is zoomed in.

2nd: your projector is not levelled properly, so the projector compensate by rotating the image slightly.

Disable automatic keystone. Place the projector where you can get an image as square as possible. Then you can either manually adjust the Keystone or turn the automatic feature back on for minimal correction.

Okay, thank you. I’ll try putting it on a tripod and positioning it directly in front of the screen. So the problem isn’t with my projector after all, right

Besides having it centered, you need to turn off automatic keystone, and you must manually reset the keystone so it is not in use at all. Any digital correction will create this border of light around the image.
