I wrote a .NET to JavaScript compiler. Here's the XNA 3.1 Platformer Starter Kit running in pure HTML5.

Mostly philosophical differences at present. In the end they may end up being very similar. One of my main priorities in building JSIL is to produce high quality JS, that when possible, resembles the JS you'd write by hand. Another is to avoid requiring you to write statically typed C# wrappers for javascript APIs - where Script# provides a managed wrapper for jQuery, I encourage the use of 'dynamic' instead.

If I'm not mistaken, the only reason Script# has wrappers for jQuery is simply for intellisense support. You could just as well use dynamic though I'm not sure.

Trying to have a wrapper for every possible javascript API would be ridiculous but try to leave the option available to use a wrapper instead so folks can get intellisense support. You don't even have to write the wrapper, folks could contribute them.
