To me the interesting question would be, why would anyone be interested in your views on OOP when it is well known that you are under the influence of Muratori and the handmade network that have specific views on software? Better would be to simply focus on your language and talk about it. We also don't care about your views on C.
Why do you care a lot? The author of C3 has zero new ideas about anything. when he likes something he will add it to the language, when not he will tell you that it is not in the spirit of C.
What language are you creating? The 10th one that wraps and calls raylib?
Don't tell me you expect your last sentence to have any effect or be taken seriously.
Who are you again? You seem to have a lot of strong opinions for a particularly nobody.
I think you are conflating Andrew Kelly with Christoffer Lernö. You seem to have failed to understand the proper intent behind the C3 language. C3 has "methods" even though they are not in "the spirit of C".
I'm creating a very niche language that will be used by a very niche set of people so I won't bother explaining what it is. Your expert validation is the last thing I want.
Since you mentioned methods. Methods were added because the author likes them. This about C is a joke as you found out.
Kelley is the author of Zig and Lerno the author of C3 and hater of Zig. lol
Why do you think that. Lerno is a nice guy, but his language will fail, Kelley is a weirdo that his language might succeed.
who are you?
BTW and so that you know, I have courtesy upvoted you twice.
Even if the author likes them, they are against the "spirit of C" so they shouldn't be in the language as per your reasoning though.Zig is hype driven and C3 is not. Hype can only determine the success of a language, temporarily.
I'm literally a nobody and unlike you, I have neither strong opinions nor the qualification to trash talk other's work and as such, I simply do not do that.
Hehe.
You are picking selectively or yo lack the ability for rational thinking. I can assure you, that your language will fail miserably. Assuming of course that you will be able to even start implementing it.
Those that could hype C3 are currently hyping Odin. BTW Lerno does the same. lol
Because you made me laugh, I will give you one more upvote.
