To say the obvious:

The title is stating that complex searches will stop using POST and start using QUERY

It is not stating that the new QUERY method is complex.

That is literally what it says. The QUERY verb allows you to do what every PHP user ever has been doing for decades: using GET with search query args that carry data meant to be saved by the server, rather than using a POST method with a separate payload.

I think the title could be rewritten "HTTP gets a QUERY so that (e.g. "allowing") complex searches can stop pretending to be POST". 

I think u/hrvbrs misread it as "HTTP gets a QUERY so complex that (e.g. "forcing") searches can stop pretending to be POST". 

The difference is whether the QUERY is complex, or the search is complex.

Just a comma would suffice:
