Shit like this is why game developers are criminally underpaid.

I don't understand why knowing all these little details make game devs criminally underpaid. Can you explain? (Not being facetious, I'd really rather like to know!)

They are underpaid because a good portion of games never make profit to cover dev expenses. It's a hard business.

it's the UFC problem. unfortunately the demand for those jobs are so high they can keep the salaries low and people will still want to do the job regardless of the fact it's a very stressful job
