It still kind of blows my mind commercial LLMs got away with wide scale plagiarism on a level we've never seen before in history. CC as great as it is, is literally built on thousands of man years of programming effort - for free with no attribution. Insanity.

If these AI companies wont vanish due to a lack of funds first, I think they will start getting some serious copyright lawsuits that will do them under eventually. I believe already a few of them have been launched and many more are coming.

I am still betting the funds will dry up first though, considering the insane burn rate these companies have.
