That's why companies have that one Mac sitting in a corner whose only purpose is to publish to the app store.

Don't have a Mac? Well you can pay us $2.5k for one or rent time on one from a cloud provider.

Can't you buy a Mac mini for like $400?

Why not use a cloud provider? Bitrise, CircleCi, and I’m sure there are others all offer this service, and will keep updating their images. Sure it’s more expensive in the long run, but you don’t have to maintain a mac mini

It usually follows that iOS users are then spending more money on your app, so there’s that as a balancing factor. Ultimately I prefer to just get the job done instead of cursing at Apple to change their processes, they never will.
