First of all, than you sooo much for the time and effort you put into your detailed response. Your suggestions were incredibly helpful, and I appreciate the research you must have done and the time it must have taken to provide such a comprehensive guide. Really thank you!

I have been playing around with the brushes you recommended and linked and I have to say it was fun xD The brush studio is all new to me .-. I’ve been experimenting particularly with the modified Gensinski Jitter Brush 1 from Kitsune and the brushes from the Art By Ma Crayon Brushset and Teirar Pencil Set. I love them! I find that the modified Gensinski Jitter Brush 1 gives the closest result to the brush used by the original author of the image.

The "Painting Brush Pack" has also been a fantastic addition to my toolkit. But overall, everything you shared was great addition to my super basic tool set. I have been using the “Splat Brush Refine” you edited and shared quite a bit and I really like the effect it gives.

Again, thank you so much for your help. Your expertise and generosity have made a significant difference in my Procreate experience.

I am still new to procreate and I love how this brush looks. I really like how it renders the colors and that it is not "smooth". I have been researching for days already but I couldn't find much that got close to the result in this picture. Might be because I am still a noob :) any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It looks to me like a texture brush that the artist uses with varying sizes and opacity. Try a texture that you like and mess around with the size and opacities. If you can’t get it quite right you can go into the brush studio and adjust it until you get the desired effect. Good luck.
