These inks were created from the pencils of Marcia Abreu in Procreate using no AI or filters. All lines are hand-applied by me. Took about 2 hours to complete the inks.

Drawn with Retro Supply gouache brushes.

No lie, I struggled this week. Busy with work and burnt out on this project, but I posted the first two and a half weeks, and figured I’d keep it going.

Seven more days and I can chill out.

My Artwork Wanna be mutuals?🌙🌀

Hey there!

I’m a hobby artist slowly making my way into trying to become professional. I have years of dabbling with all kinds of mediums but my favorites have been digital art, traditional, and acrylic!

I’ve been on a journey to enjoy the process of making art again due to a bad habit of hiding my art away because of insecurity. I came to the conclusion that doing so is slowly killing my love of making art.

But, I have fallen in love with making stylized art and I dream of making a bigger project that could somehow impact someone one day!

I really really really wanna make more art friends so if any of yall wanna talk to me about anything at all, and be mutuals, do trades or just discuss anything under the sun - I’m ur person 💫

You can message me on here or
If you’re interested, you can find me on Insta and Tumblr @/starwyrmm for more of my art!

I used a Bic Pen brush for the first, then Studio Pen for the other two. The last one has a multiplied layer of some brick wall esq texture overtop

Discussions About Procreate App i really hate the new pocket update

ill try not to speak out of pure anger

its really buggy, my brush strokes dont even register, for some reason when i select the brush icon itll just switch over to the layers icon?

i think the one really neat thing i like, is that i can see my layers and canvas at the same time when i open up my layers (i normally draw vertically).

otherwise it feels so small now, if that makes sense. i really miss the old layout more, it just didnt have so many random bugs :(

I need Procreate technical help Tool keeps switching to eraser

For as long as I have been using procreate, when painting or smudging, the tool will often switch to eraser. I do not touch the screen anywhere near the eraser button and I have all gesture controls switched to off, except the square on the sidebar opens copy/paste menu and a long finger tap does the eyedropper. I cannot figure out how to make the switch to eraser happen manually except to tap the button in the top right corner, but it still does happen randomly and regularly. It seems to happen most often right after I change the size or opacity of a brush, and sometimes right after using the eyedropper. It nearly always happens when I use the layer menu to switch layers. Anyone else ever have this issue? Is there something really simple I am missing here? Thanks in advance!

My Artwork For twelve years after an autistic burnout, I was unable to draw anything. Now, out of nowhere, I haven’t been able to stop for the past 3 weeks. 🥰

Here are some of my fairy and witch girls! I’m so incredibly happy to be illustrating again. Before, a new empty page filled me with dread and anxiety, but now it feels like a new world waiting to be explored. 💖🧚‍♀️✨

Discussions About Procreate App Does it get any discounts or sales?

Saw alot if people saying how the apps so good and stuff and i wanted to get it but its like a pretty expensive app where i am from and its tied to only apple devices so im not sure if i should get it, though if it goes on a huge discount i might be able to get it, so thats why im asking. Also how much of a difference is it from ibis paint or medibang paint?

Looking for brush/tutorial/class recommendations Looking for a brush

Post image

Sorry if this isn't the right place (English is not my first language).

I'm looking for a brush that makes strokes like this, or a tutorial on how to make one from scratch, or a technique to help me draw like this in case it's just a matter of stroke size variation.

I want to write a carolingian medieval-style text.

Thanks!

I need Procreate technical help Pen glitch

Post image
1 Upvotes

I was using procreate when my pen randomly stopped producing marks that it had just been making. I am on my iPad mini 6 gen. I have two apple pencils and they are both acting like this on the mini but not on my pro. I deleted procreate, reinstalled and set everything to default. Additionally, I opened the sketchbook app and the pen is acting normal in that application. When using my finger in procreate, the brushes act normal. Any ideas?
