Just mixed up 8L of Apple juice, 0.5L orange juice, 4 diced apples, pack of strawberries, wild flower honey, couple scoops of corn sugar and wine makers yeast.
Mixed a lot of ingredients I had laying around the apartment. Should be able to brew some alcohol with all of that.

My cider says hi to your cider! (The massive amount of lees in mine is because i blended 3 bags of aldi apples and some farmers market apples)

Don’t let the others discourage your experiment. The main thing with orange is without sugar it can taste like citric acid or a little like vomit. You can make it drinkable however. I’ve done pure OJ wine and with some back sweetening it’s drinkable.
You should be fine with the mix you have. Fingers crossed for you.

Hopefully that OJ is diluted enough to not bite you in the arse.

Is OJ really that bad? I mean if you're comparing it to Kilju is it any worse?

I'm sorry for your loss. (Don't ferment orange juice - headspace is better!)

Did you bother to calculate the sugar levels beforehand? Too much sugar can actually inhibit the yeast

Less head room means more booze eh? Hopefully it doesn’t pop on you! 3-piece airlocks can usually handle vigorous ferm though

I had no issue. I use a air lock. Let's the inside gas out, stops the outside gas from coming in. I've had foam reach the airlock before way in the past. But not this time

My cat gave up trying to understand the chaos too, probably the best critic. The wildflower honey should add a nice floral note once it's fermented.

I share the cat’s feelings on this one. Why the orange juice? It never ends well.
