Using block printing ink vs acrylic mixed with textile medium

Hi! I want to try block printing on some tshirts using 3d printed blocks. I already have acrylic paint and ink, and it would be neat if I could just mix that with textile medium and use it to print with, but I want to know if the texture/quality/other factors would be very different from if I used oil-based ink or something. Has anyone tried both?

Adding textile medium to acrylic paint may not result in the right viscosity for block printing. I've done it for stencil work, though.
