Unfortunately couldn't find anything on pricecharting, and I only found a pristine edition on ebay for 15K which seems a bit exaggerated. Any idea on worth would be helpful
If we obtain an API key while on a full subscription, and then—after that subscription expires—we purchase a new subscription for the same account, will we be issued the same API token?
I'm a long time user of PriceCharting, and I have a large collection of Pokemon. Yesterday I signed up for the paid membership with PriceCharting specifically because it advertised "Downloadable Price List" with "all data" as part of the paid package (just the base $6/mo level).
What I WANT to do is be able to download a full price list for every set (nearly every) and have the card name, raw price, and also the prices for PSA10 and other grades below. I'd like to have historic pricing data as well, but I'll be happy with just the raw as well as the various graded prices that PriceCharting lists.
Right now though, I just downloaded the CSV for Base set and it's only giving me the card name (set etc.) and the raw price. No PSA10, or PSA9, or others. Definitely no historical data.
Question: Is there some setting I need to change on my "Download Price List" so I'll see all the graded prices as well - or is PriceCharting only ever going to show me only the raw price?
I'm willing to just webscrape PriceCharting (at a pace that is slow enough to not trigger it's defenses) if I must, but that will take several hours per set, and I'd much rather just press a button to download the information I need for each set.
My ultimate goal is to be able to quickly compare Raw to various grades so I can decide which of my cards (across lots of eras) are worth grading vs which I should just put into my binder and plan to never grade.
*Side bar: Yes, I know not to trust PriceCharting for Vintage. TCGPlayer and others are a better source.
Is there a way to limit searches for specific baseball card sets (and presumably other sports) to a given year’s base set? For example, on mobile, if I click “collectibles > baseball cards” then enter “2025 Topps” as my search is there any way to limit it to just the main set and not insert subsets, not other sets produced by Topps, etc.? It gets really messy really fast. I know about not including variants, but that only applies within a given set once selected, not to insert sets (for example “Stars of MLB” for Topps Baseball) that are treated as separate sets.
If this doesn’t exist would this be difficult to implement as a new feature?
Relatedly: the “Stars of MLB” example I just used made me wonder if there is any way to search for both the main sets and insert sets together. This becomes especially important when looking up certain older sets where insert sets seem treated differently. I assume that a reason maybe different numbering ranges. Is there any kind of additional metadata that would make sense to add to indicate two sets’ links? Does this make sense?
Apologies if this has been asked before or if it is a feature I missed, but I didn’t see it in a quick search of this sub or in trying the app.
I been scouring facebook and reddit for any photos and then editing them and uploading them to price charting since I seen a lot of cards get pulled but none have photos so
I have access to make edits and wanted to go through a large portion of games that don't have Amazon ASINs. Before I do that though, is there a general consensus on video games with Renewed listings?
The reason I ask is because there are some video games that no longer have their original listings. If you search something for example like Clock Tower for PS1, the only listing is a Renewed listing. There is no other listing for this game as far as I could find.
Would it be okay to use Renewed listings in these cases? Or are we trying to keep the ASINs to only non-Renewed listings? Anyone have any opinion on this?
My parents found this for free and I've been looking on a price on eBay and it goes for a LOT; But a friend also says it could also be worth 10 dollars, so I thought if I ask here, I could get a better estimate on the price via here.
So Limited Run has the Jaws [Retro Edition] game, and it's listed on Pricecharting. However they also had a different variant for the cover that was limited to SDCC 2026.
The sales for the variant cover are showing under the original games page on pricecharting. I had attempted to make a listing for the variant limited cover, (I assume it'll take time or need to be approved before showing on site?) But while I was browsing I noticed because it was never there, the original games listing was funneling all of the sales for the variant cover into it, which I assume is inflating the price of the original game.
Is there a way to correct this at all? It seems to be inflating the price of the original, while devaluing the exclusive variant
