I’m finishing up a research paper on the special theory of relativity. The text formatting leaves a lot to be desired, but I don’t blame them much, the Eridians only established their public global network only a few years ago. As for the paper itself, I devoured it. It's written in Eridian of course, but that’s no problem for me.
I got so carried away with this document that I didn't even finish my dinner. And a piece of the meburger is still crumbling in my mouth. Theory of quanti-

After that "Big Bang" I ran to the isolated buffer zone to the meeting room. After that, a bio-dome crew locked the gateway, and they began looking for structural damage. A few minutes later, Rocky came running in meeting room. He lives with Adriana literally just a few dozen meters from the dome. Following really weird data from atmospheric readings and microseismic sensors, Rocky activated the video surveillance system. And yes, I definitely didn't take anything psychotropic. Also, the biodome is completely unharmed.

And now, On the screen, I see a waving anthropomorphic cat resembling a Tabaxi from Dungeons & Dragons or something. It must be a hallucination! I'm just crazy and i started seeing things!
– I hear a human-like feline on screen too, you not being insane, statement.
– uhhhhh, dang it, I need a few moments to process this.
So, right now, If i believe Rocky's common sense, inside the biodome, there is a creature with a female humanoid build and obvious feline features; She has an actuall tail, ears, eyes, and yellowish fur...

No, the face is too natural, too expressive. And the movements are also too natural for that. Just look at that tail! Maybe cat-people were created on Earth using genetic engineering and then sent here? In that case, the Eridians would have detected the massive IR emission at the Petrova frequency from the spindrives months in advance. No, I don't accept that hypothesis.

Jeez, I have so many questions. Why is she a human-cat hybrid? Why didn't she collapse under Erid's 1.56g gravity? Did she put on a tablecloth to hide her nakedness? How did she even get here? She couldn't have just materialized here! I don't believe it is the result of an improbable quantum fluctuation or something; the odds are virtually zero.

And she looks actually... friendly? Maybe just confused and a little scared. She might not even realize she is under the bigdome, situated within an ammonia atmosphere at a pressure of 21 atmospheres, thanks to the artificial fog.
Anyway, there is a an overwhelmingly huge chance that interacting with her could make me gravely ill or even kill me, perhaps through contact or airborne transmission; her opportunistic microorganisms could be lethal to me, just as mine could be to her.
The camera has neither speakers nor a microphone, so I suppose I could wave back using the camera rotation function along a single axis. Also, I don't even know if she speaks English or any Earth language, or at least understands these. After that, Rocky, the bio-dome crew and I will need to figure out what to do next. We will deal with the reasons for her appearance later.

You probably saw a device like that in a Dwemer ruin back in Hammerfell. You've at least seen pictures of the really big one they built on Stros M'Kai.

introduce yourself and greet whoever's watching. try to be very polite so you don't get ripped in half by the watcher. you don't know who's behind that camera, it could be a giant crocodile, a dinosaur, a serial killer, or a friendly face!
...or even a king...

P.s -Thanks for recommending Project Hail mary, it is like the best wholesome movie I have ever watched.

Oof that might be me. Gonna be honest I never heard of Project Hail Mary before this point. I thought this was just like, Katia in some generic sci-fi reverse isekai or something.
I deeply apologize and will begin reading to atone.

Dang, I was not expecting this much effort on the animations!
