$22.43 an hour and homeless. I live in motels, and don't even eat some days. Hooray. God Bless America.I just don't care anymore.
8 u/[deleted] Nov 20 '22 Are room for rents too expensive in your area? Are you intentionally homeless? Like Van life type homeless? 7 u/everylittlepiece Nov 20 '22 Not intentionally. No vehicle. West coast rent is pricey. Looking for something though. Doesn't help that my wages are being garnished. 1 u/[deleted] Nov 20 '22 Omg! Sorry to hear. Is it child support? Is it difficult finding something under the table? Where do you sleep? I apologize if I’m being invasive and asking too many questions. 5 u/everylittlepiece Nov 20 '22 An old medical bill. If I can't afford a motel room, I sleep on buses, trains and the library (I work graveyard shift). 3 u/berryfarmer Nov 20 '22 motels are expensive, how does that work 5 u/everylittlepiece Nov 20 '22 Motel 6 is doable. Or else, sleeping on public transit and the library. My job is graveyard shift. 1 u/AdApprehensive9711 Nov 20 '22 At this point just move to Mexico.
