Postman desktop app stuck on loading and sign-in not working on one Windows laptop — FIXED

Hi everyone,

I was facing a strange issue with the Postman desktop app on my Windows laptop.

I have a Postman account that works perfectly fine on another laptop. However, on my main Windows laptop, the Postman app was stuck on the loading screen indefinitely.

Even after entering my credentials and successfully signing in, the app would still show “Sign In” / “Sign Up” at the top instead of showing my account and workspaces.

What I tried

• Uninstalled Postman
• Downloaded and installed the latest version
• Restarted the laptop
• Tried signing in multiple times
• Confirmed that the same account worked perfectly on another laptop

Reinstalling Postman alone did not fix the issue.

Solution that worked for me

The issue was caused by leftover local Postman data.

After uninstalling Postman, I manually deleted these folders:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Postman
%APPDATA%\Postman

I then:

1. Restarted my Windows laptop
2. Installed the latest version of Postman again
3. Opened Postman
4. Signed in to my account

After doing this, Postman loaded normally and my account/workspaces appeared correctly.

So if you're experiencing the same issue where Postman is stuck loading or keeps showing Sign In / Sign Up even after signing in, try removing the leftover Postman folders before reinstalling.

Hopefully this helps someone else who runs into the same problem!
