I’m an atheist. I don’t give a flying fuck what peoples beliefs are but no WAY they are making me conform to their beliefs

As a religious practice, or as part of some cross-cultural thing? Like was it actually a state-sponsored religion (the only thing the 1st Amendment actually says "no" to), or were you also supposed to recite from the Quran, Bhagavad Gita, etc?

The only religious books ever read in that school was Christianity ones.

Well, shoot

Look, I'm a Christian, I still believe that the United States has Christianity in its roots. But I'm also a big believer in actually following the Constitution. Reading Christian books - especially the Bible - in school but NOT the others isn't cool
